Or the ability to designate a primary heir, as long as the designated character has a higher tier elf trait than the old primary heir.
Or even a succession law where the primary heir is the one with the highest-tier elf trait, and birth order only plays a role when two or more heirs have the same tier - maybe even that a daughter with a higher tier can inherit ahead of a son with a lower tier. Call it "sanguine preference" or something like that.
With one set in Europe (the three existing sites should work for that), one in the region from Central Africa to Arabia (say, one each in Kanem-Bornu, Abyssinia and Arabia) and one Central/Southern Asia (say, one each in Persia, Tibet and Turan), expeditions should be feasible from anywhere on the map.
Perhaps Elven Supremacy could be changed to work like Mystical Ancestors - i.e. you get a decent one-time Renown gain whenever you grant a title to a dynasty member, instead of an ongoing monthly bonus? Though perhaps instead of applying to dynasty members, it could apply to people with an elf trait.
