Just a thought. We don't really have liquids change levels at the moment but soil drys up so a constantly watered farm triggered by one of these monitoring 1 soil plot would be excellent.

I understand that triggering a pump when it gets close to a certain liquid is great and all but errr..
I can see when the pump goes into the liquid therefore I can flick a switch or pump starts pumping as soon as it enters liquid so ATM not seeing a point to it..

Oh.. Amphibious vehicle auto switching / dropping the propeller..
