/fly 10
in the chat window
my character begins to drown so I also have to type
/god
too.
type
/fly 0
to cancel fly mode and
/god
again to cancel invincibility.
You'll be able to fly around to see desert biomes to check out.
if you don't use /god in conjunction with /fly 10 then don't forget to /fly 0 near the ground otherwise..
Splat..!!
So in that respect it would unfortunately be a new game then an instant /fly to check your worlds oil pond spawn.
There's usually a common spawn near Bills house in a close by desert area you have to be almost on top of it to notice it and TBH I found one on top of a hill half way between Bills & HQ before I found the one ~300 meters away from Bills.
I thought there was a way in the procedural map generator to specify at least one oil pond. But it might be a long way away, on the edge of the map.
I had the exact same thoughts about the map generation issue, and I got no answers yet either. But it seems there's no "guarantee" that all the (necessary) elements are present.
I went flying around all the way to explore, no results (and yes, you need /god because flying is using the swimming trick).
I tried also an other world and went around and found some oil, so it seems I was simply damn unlucky.
I am not sure if I would like to start over, having finished almost everything... if I knew that this was the case, I would have done the pre-exploring step before to do anything... but maybe I could do some improvements in a new world, now that I know what to aim. Could be nice to be able to "transfer" the achievents and the inventory, maybe it's even possible...
