Fant mod and Crashlanders?
I know the "Mod Craftbot" says it'll allow me to craft anything from other mods that has a recipe. I just want to 100% confirm whether or not Fant mod's stuff specifically works because I really love their "grinder" mining/tree felling tools.

Confused.

Will the Fant mod allow you to use Crashlander handheld tree & handheld mining tools.?
Will Crashlander allow you to use Fant mod items in Crashlander.?
or will Crashlander allow you to use Fant mod mining tools in Crashlander.?

TBH I don't know but I feel this might need to be clarified first before someone who may know might understand what's being asked.

Cheers.

The description of the Mod Craftbot says it contains any modded item that has a recipe. I'm wondering if that means Fant mod's stuff will all be in that craftbot or if it'll be added to one of the other ones, or if it just won't show up at all.

Edit: The mining/tree chopping tool in question is a vehicle tool, it's literally the spiked grinder things from the Refinebot made into a usable standalone tool.

The mods by themselves? Yes. The filemod? No.

Oh. Yeah I'm talking about the Workshop version of Fant.

Some of Fants stuff requires Warehouse keys ..... could not find them in crashlanders .... tried to edit files to add a low drop chance to crates but could not get it to work ..... but i did manage to get wolfs to have a low chance to drop them.

I have no clue what im doing with them files so i put it all down to luck lol.

Good 4 you. It's the best way to get in to it. It's not the easiest code to learn and sometimes unexpected things occur.

But yeah It's extra rewarding when something works according to plan.
It's a learning curve if it does or if it doesn't go to plan.

I know nothing either but messing around I flattened the annoying vanilla survival Mechanics Station floor out.
Only the collision mask tho so my character clips in to the broken floor piece but IDC.

Is Running in circles on your mechanic stations Flat floor after eating to many Blue berries.
Worth it..? Heller yeah. Lol.

A brute force way for finding out what UUIDs of items are is to check the GUI icons picture, find its approximate pixel location then then searching the text of the XML file for whatever is at that pixels location.

May help finding all sorts in which to hide as crate presents ETC ETC

So I added the Fant mod to my Crashlanders save file and...nothing showed up, even in the "unlimited" inventory. Either I did something wrong or the two mods do not in fact cooperate.

I'm fairly sure the subscribed mods automatically import into the game when the final quest is completed.

Honestly? I probably did. Thankfully it doesn't seem to have broken anything.

Guess why, filemods have to be in the game files to work (DON'T do that) the filemod b&p you download doesn't do anything.

Yeah I know how filemods work, I've installed Fant that way before. It's just not a good idea to do that with Crashlanders :P

So, I have installed Fant mod (file version). Is this brake the Crashlander mod, and must I remove Fant mod? Or game ignore main files when I play the custom game mode, and nothing will broke out?

From what I can understand, if you've installed the fant mod in any capacity and you've installed it normally as the fant mod description tells you to then don't worry about it. Play either game as and when you want to.

The fants constructable item blueprints (Drills, Saws etc etc) will unlock in the crash lander mods assembler (Craft) bot menu for you to build the fant items in the crash lander world.

These unlock in crash lander when you have completed the story line.
There is a Lock item in the crash lander mods assembler (Craft) bot menu over an icon which looks like a vanilla craftbot..

This lock icon disappears when the game is complete and it indicates that all mod blueprints are now available to craft.

** I've used assembler (Craft) bot to describe the bot which looks like the vanilla craftbot.
