Blueprints and keycards
anyone got any hints where to get the blueprints for the handheld drill & saw and glider? And the HQ storage room and pipe room stairs 1 keycards? I'm avoiding the temptation to use /unlimited to get them.

Where did you get them from?

They're in the cave basically going straight from the entrance. You may have to jump around a bit to see the sparkle but it's not too far away and there are some props to give it away.

So I just barely found them following some other peoples tips. I'll just say that along with Snart's comment, it kind of flew over my head. I'll give you this much. You need to cross the broken bridge. If you can get past there, you'll narrow down where it is.

How do you actually use the handheld tools? They keep saying no power but idk how to power them.

You either craft or create batteries and hold them in your inventory, Specifically the electric equivalent to Gasoline. You can get them for free-ish by looting green boxes while travelling or by hooking up an alternator to a bearing going at speed with some resistance (Which I haven't fully figured out yet lol)

Basically you need a bearing to be spinning. Connect that bearing to an alternator using the connect tool, same as an engine. How that bearing spins is your choice- a water wheel, a fifth wheel on your car rolling on the ground, a motor, or anything else. There will be a distinct sound and some sparks from the alternator when it's working, so you'll know.

If you are making a motor-generator, have it as bearing-block-bearing and connect one bearing to the alternator and another to the motor so that ultimately that block spins.
