Brewing Changes from Vanilla
Added new reactions:
  • Brew five <drink> - used to take a single plant or growth and produce exactly 5 drink. This is useful for cooking, as it prevents meal stacks from getting too large to fit into barrels.
  • Brew some <drink> - this is the vanilla brewing reaction, except plant specific. Takes whatever size stack is picked up, makes that much drink.
  • Brew a barrel of <drink> - A barrel can hold 100 drink. This reaction makes sure every barrel gets filled properly. Requires 20 plant, growth, or honey.

Drink changes (these are discussed in more detail in the crop and tree discussions):
  • Removed artichoke wine
  • Renamed banana beer to banana wine
  • Renamed barley wine to barley beer
  • Added birch beer (made from birch sap)
  • Added chicory coffee (made from chicory plant)
  • Added cocoa drink
  • Added coffee
  • Added maple wine (made from maple sap)
  • Added muskmelon wine
  • Added oat beer
  • Added palm wine (made from coconut and date palm sap)
  • Removed purple amaranth beer
  • Added tea
  • Removed tomatillo wine
  • Added watermelon wine
Cocoa, coffee, and tea grant a caffeination syndrome. It slightly reduces pain, while increasing activity level, perseverance, and politeness. Like alcohol, it gives a small amount of euphoria. Chicory coffee gives a smaller amount of euphoria (no other affects). These drinks count as alcohol for dwarves' alcohol needs.
