This discussion comment gonna update dynamicly.
Im gonna update this thread by finding new ways to impove the mod

BUGS
- Braven crashes the game?
If you create any new save when you enter the world with the mod. After creating the world and "Press button to start". A screamer of spamming button sound happens and then the game hangs

- Braven have bugged out inventory.
I enabled minimal count of mods to test Braven as NPC companion. For some reason, when i interact. His inventory became empty (0/50).

- Braven earn weared clothes of player
If I give him an item that I already have (for example I have 2 armor vests). The player gives him the one he is wearing, causing me confusion.
But I think it's causing a bug with his inventory

- Braven stopped attack zombies!
To be honest i have 0 idea what cause this, because he doing absolutely nothing even when he sees zombies.

- Braven attack order doesn't work
Regardless of whether I choose Defense or Attack mode. Braven reacts the same way, i.e. does not pay attention to zombies coming towards me. However, he will occasionally fight a zombie. To start a zombie fight with two zombies, I have to bring the zombies to Braven so he can finally attack them.

- Braven became naked and without crowbar...
I have no idea why that happend. But when i entered my save Braven became naked. But somehow he still have weight in inventory, and nothing on it.
I guess that linked to bugged inventory issue

- Braven disappeared from no reason
I went into the house through the window, and Braven apparently chased a zombie from behind. After that I didn't see him for about 3 minutes until he appeared in the distance.

- There's a typo in the Russian localization
In "Боевая позиция" section there two buttons: "Оскорбительный" and "Оборонительный". Im suggesting to edit "Offensive and Defensive" to "Attacking and Defending". Because verbs are easier to translate into other languages

- Braven cannot be damaged in car (even when window broken)
Zombies just cannot bite Braven through window in car, but zombies still get agro in and they destroy car.

- Braven still getting naked after reloading save!!
At least he don't delete his inventory, but now i can't ask him to put clothes back lmao

- Braven have a massive error stroke
Braven creates lots of errors what i posted again, in comment section

- Braven still jumpscare me with sound spam if i load new save with him
Its actually scared me again. Dropped Google Drive link to console spam.

- Braven seems like swapped Defensive and Offensive modes
In russian localization Braven actually have swapped Defensive and Offensive words (i seen dialogue where she said (Its time to be offensive!) when i clicked defensive option

- Braven fails to exit vehicle if lock is broken
Braven can't exit vehicle when lock is broken. And its seems like she create invinsible physical entity near door. So its impossible to take off door.

- Braven attack from car when window in car is up
If zombies get agro on Braven, she attack zombies from car seat

- Braven close doors inside car

- Braven dublicate himself
I got strange interaction with car when Braven dublicate himself without inventory its seems

- Braven bugging zombies when he kills
Its not worth fixing but when i have Combat Text enabled, Braven when kills zombies from firearms, HP bar become full on dead zombies. I guess zombies are not "truly" died.

- Braven sometimes teleport into furniture
Its happening rarely, but i guess that confuse zombie pathfinding so they idle even when i shoot

- Braven have strange hitreg
Braven sometimes can kill zombies through walls, under stairs (zombie spawned under). In front of player (even when Braven not nearby). And generally have some freak situations.

- Braven refuse to unequip weapon
Posted console error in comment

- Braven don't lose item condition
Whatever im gonna give him, lets pretend the same spoon. He gonna use it forever.

- Braven break player's script in the car?
I got funny situation where my window was up, and zombie bite me through it. That was mega unfair.

SUGGESTIONS
- Braven Multiplayer Inventory window
We have a loot transfer window from multiplayer. It will fit in much better, and probably fix the problem with Braven's buggy inventory.

- Braven could use backpacks
As I understand it Braven cannot put on any backpacks (already checked without mods). It would be logical for him to be able to increase his space if you give him different backpacks. For example, to lower his place from 50 to 15, with a school backpack or satchel instead of 15 in the player would give him 25+15. Duffel Bag instead of 18 to 24+15. Large Backpack would give 54+15 instead of 27. Making Braven logical to upgrade.

- Braven should climb tall fences
I'm not going to condone the fact that an NPC who has the task of walking with the player can't move like the player. Braven has to climb over fences.

- Braven should run
Braven is far behind as he has less speed than the player. If I need to move without a car. I have to wait for him to reach me, or teleport. I have to remember not to let Braven attack zombies on the way when he is running towards the player

- Braven is scared too
It looks comical when Braven bites 6 zombies while making no attempt to escape. That makes it a great cheat, but as far as I'm concerned it's too OP. He should be shortening his distance if zombies are coming towards him.

- Braven won't tear clothes
It doesn't make sense if Braven is being bitten by zombies and he looks terrible after 2 hours of real time.

- Braven could help if you scream
If you click anywhere, there will be a button "Call Braven". The character will shout as in Q, and Braven will appear behind the player. (If Braven for example has left or is dumb, you can always call him).

If you call Braven when the player is looking at him, he will wave his hand.

- Braven can loot.
The player can give it presets from the AutoLoot mod. Where Braven will search for near containers without breaking the distance with the player. It is also possible to enable the "vacuum cleaner" mode where if Braven can no longer collect loot he will say "I can't loot anymore".

- Braven can scavenge
If you give the scissors to Braven, the order "Get any rags" will be available. If you give him a propane torch and a propane tank, the order "Get any metal" will be available. He'll take apart any metal thing he can take apart. If you give the scissors to Braven, the order "Get any rags" will be available. If you give him a screwdriver, the order "Get any Electronic" will be available/ He could disasemble any electronic nearby. The result of the disasemble will be taken from the player's level

- Braven hitrate is CRAZY
I guess that not depends on mod because multiplayer have junky hitreg too. But damn, i just give them sledgehammer. And he swaps away hordes! Can't imagine if i give him a mf katana or somethin.

- Braven could attack from vehicle
Since he's given the ability to shoot, why not allow him to attack from the window? If the window is broken (or down). It will shoot from afar when the character is traveling.

- Braven gonna unpack ammo boxes
Kinda inventory managment for Braven to unpack ammo boxes when he runs out of bullets.

- Braven gonna reload clip at free time
When no zombies are around, Braven will charge the clip in his spare time

- Braven switches back to Firearms
When i give him a order to switch to M9, he after 2-3 shots switch back to Crowbar

- Braven should be immortal (at least right now)
Braven is buggy and dummy, and its probably gonna die very quickly in combat. Not mention that he also gonna be resource waste. Its not worth to take attention on this NPC.

- Braven should to get out of the car despite the fact that "he's afraid to get out in traffic".Because when the player instantly stops and gets out, Braven is still sitting in the car (apparently he has a small delay).

- Braven could stacking corpses
This process is very time consuming so i guess you could implement auto-function for stocking corpses to burn them off?

- Braven gonna protect player when its doing action
When player is in example: Disasemble furniture, Braven gonna focus on player area (3x3 tiles). So he gonna complete it without disrupting.

- Braven give items to player if he need some
Similar to Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, Braven can give items to the player if the player badly needs them. (You can turn on Elizabeth mode to have Braven give items "out of thin air."). For example, he can give necessary medicines, food, water, books, etc. This will greatly increase the liveliness of the NPC

- Disable Braven Immortality if Zomboid Character died

gayonne
- Ability to wear all clothes by 1 button
- Order to wash clothes on nearest water sources
- Disable Braven collision to player
- Allow Braven to climb sheet ropes

- Put "relax" button to Braven so he sits down

Randomsky
- Add dialoges for Braven, so he could be more companion than hitman.

Crack_Head2k
- If Zomboid Character respawns (because Braven dies without him). He came up after 24 hours of game time.

Hydr0xygen
- Order: Earn logs and drop here

Quilava
- If we can't add run to him, why we can't just boost some speed on walk?
- Fix pathfinding in closed areas (player open the window but Braven gonna try open already closed door)
- Add more Bravens in the World?
- Make ability to change hairstyle

- Keeep mod simple and minimal
- To make framework already in this existing one instead of "library base" or something.
- NPC can do: Attack, Follow, Carry, Customize, Talk

- Autowash Braven or disable dirt on clothes entierly

I don't think it's a good place to loot; I'd like to eat something edible; I used to love places like this

Did you hear that Spiffo is connected to this?; Don't eat their burgers, just in case[/b]

Dentist
Do you have a toothache?; I hope there's medication in here

Hospital/Pharmaceutics
First things first, have a first aid kit!; Where do people go at the beginning of an apocalypse? To the hospital, of course! I don't think there's gonna be a zombie cure

Police Station
I don't think the police will ever work again; Hello? Is anyone else accepting applications?; They should definitely have an armory; Is it a good thing there are no laws now?

Fire Station
♪ Let the fire burn as a society ♪; It's probably the best place ever; Axes are pretty lethal, I'd like to use one; Don't forget to check the pantry.

Gigamart
Hypermarkets are pretty vernacular; There's enough canned goods here for weeks!; I think it's a good place for a base

Office
I'm not sure why we're here; I don't really know the difference between office plankton and zombies; Chancery?

Bars/Alcohol Stores
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?; Let's get drunk; It's no time to be discouraged, a bottle of beer would certainly do the trick; I think they make molotov cocktails out of alcohol.

Clubs/Cinemas
I'd hang out here if there were more people; Shall we watch the movie?

PAWN Store
You understand the history of things by seeing them used; I see they sell guns here too?; Places like this express charm, especially in the apocalypse.

Army store
Are we getting close to real toys?; I hope you brought a sledgehammer; It can make a big difference in the chances of survival; I'd grab everything from these shelves

Court
I sentence zombies to death!; Do you have a criminal record?; You will be judged for your every sin; I'll be your lawyer

Clothing store
That's right, you need to look stylish in front of the eyes of death; I like my stuff

Army Secret Base (near Rosewood prison
Holy sh1t, do you know about that?; I can only assume that's where it all started; I'm getting goosebumps

Rosewood prison
Zombies are plentiful? Check!; It's a pretty dangerous place, seriously; I don't think zombies are any different than prisoners

Homes
Hopefully the homeowners don't need it anymore; Robberies are bad, but I don't think the moral laws are working right now; Because people lived here, I feel sadness now; I'm sure a lot of people keep guns

Apartaments
Apartments conjure up hive analogies for me, and you know what hives do?; It's a pretty bad place to clean up; If I were you, I'd avoid the apartments.

Forest/Deepness
♪ Away from threats, away from problems ♪; ♪ Whistling ♪; You're not thinking of building a house right here?; I'm sure it's a good place for a vacation..... From zombies.

Braven quotas to "stories"
To be honest I don't think it would be any easier to implement. I would add a phrase where Braven yells "WATCH OUT!" when there is a car in front and the character is driving at 60+ km/h

As I realized this mod is really in Alpha because it is the only mod that causes me so many bugs (with game). Like a very black rendering of the environment that is not visible to the player (making the only visible camera is in front of the eyes). Or phantom bug with spamming sound, and then the game crashes after loading the mod. Noticed a strange orange glow appearing in the upper left corner overlapping the selection window

Alright let's go over some stuff that can't be done!

- Braven Multiplayer Inventory window: This is beyond my knowledge at the moment.
- Braven should run: Game severely limits NPCs in this aspect.

Sounds like an issue with your game or other mods you are using. I experience none of this with the mod.

Sounds like an issue with your game or other mods you are using. I experience none of this with the mod.

I encounter another bug, but its actually types into logs. Its happening when i exit from car, and Braven don't. So zombies destroy it :/
