* The Escort side mission (girl in hotel) can't be accepted - no option to agree.
* After the main job with the drug-stealing decker, yellow marker to South Rat Den never goes away
Thanks for letting me know, the Zombies ate my neighbors mission should go through now. The escort mission isn't supposed to be available till after the stealth mission SINner, I messed up on that one sorry.
I've just updated it, shouldn't take long to upload. Give or take 20 minutes as steam workshop works in funny ways.
Other Bugs >
> `` Get Protein `` objective remain active after giving the shaman/cook the items
> Item duplication - Every time you are joined by a companion runner, their gear gets duplicated into your stash, allowing virtual infinite money by selling.
Edit > This character was created as a Male Troll Decker, i now created a Female Troll with undefined class to asign my stats in-game and the duplication has not happened yet.
I looked into it, the item duplication should no longer happen now. I was setting off the trigger to fast not allowing the engine to remove party members before killing them off screen.
I'm looking into Double D now.
I am aware of that bug, but have no idea what causes it. My suspicion is the moving objects in that scene causes it, and somehow the AI is able to bypass it.
There are two bugs I have found just now during 'Take a ride on the wild side':
- The secure mage armor you can find inside the building does show only underwear when equipping it right away on a female elf mage (wonder if that makes a difference?) character.
- Interacting with the van in front of the warehouse is not possible again if you exit the dialogue field with "Do nothing for now".
Keep up the good work! This is by far one of my favorite games and I love seeing people like you keeping it alive with impressive mods like this one.
The mage armor has me stumped. I've combed over the items text document and checked for errors, definitely no issues there.
If you equip the armor, the armor stat upgrade works, but for some reason you can't see the armor on the player. However, if you save and reload with the armor on, it appears on the player.
So bizarre, maybe for equitable item pick ups there is a step I'm missing, I'll have to go into the official campaigns and see if they did anything different.
As for the van, I've just fixed that and changed the line to "I've got an idea for our grand entrance" to give the player a better idea of what's going to happen if you hop in the vehicle.
And thanks, I really wasn't sure how people would react to my UGC as it was my first time writing a story as well as making a UGC. As for the confines of the engine, the missions I've released thus far are only the tutorial missions. Things are only going to get crazier once the training wheels come off.
Thanks for letting me know, these should be easy fixes.
I wanted to let you know that I've experienced the truck bug in 'Take a Ride of the Wild Side' that you said you'd fixed. I interacted with the truck, but backed out, planning to trigger it later. When I came back, I was able to interact with the icon, but nothing happened (no dialogue or effect).
After returning from that mission, a number of NPCs seem to be non-responsive also - the decker merchant/data broker, Butcher in the Jackal Lantern, and perhaps others. Some are working fine though - the cyberware/meds vendor and spell vendor in the rats nest are functioning normally.
The truck bug I haven't uploaded the updated fix for yet, as I have also been made aware that the engine does not allow armor to be picked up and equip causing the model to look be in their underwear even though your character is actually wearing the new armor as the stats are updated.
It can only be bought from the store, or you have to be not wearing any armor prior to equipping armor you've near picked up gear. And I sort of put it in the backburner until I come up with an ideal solution to fix the armor bug so I can release them altogether.
And in the meantime I've been working on the next major update. As for NPC's being non responsive, I'll have to playthrough the campaign, as I have not being able to replicate this bug, nor do I see any issues in their dialogue tree. But maybe another NPC is causing this to happen.
If I am able to find a fix, I'll upload a quick update for the lot.
