@DaveOFDeath And I tried contacting steam, they recommended to speak to the developers, as Shadowrun uses its own tool to upload files.

Change the picture? The upload fails if the UGC cover image doesn't change. I don't know why. I included a version number on mine when I did the uploads to get around it.

For the new players that rolled a Shaman, I am aware that the spark spell now cost 0 AP and can be spammed infinitely which came with the last update. I have been trying to upload a fix for 3 days non stop, but workshop is being a major pain and keeps failing.

@Darx Yes, the character you create can be found in the truck mission after the docks. Afterwards they'll be controllable. It is all connected.

@Zmeck Thanks, here's a video of some of the things coming in the next update. I don't have a subscription to a quality video editor hence it being just a few clips slapped together with no voiceover.

@Zmeck It may just be just internet points, but it goes a long way in motivating many UGC/Mod creators out there including myself. This project was tough, as it probably is for all UGC creators that have butted heads with this editor.

@JBillusion, if you are talking about the 3rd main mission after Slippery Pete, SINner is north on the road besides Chopshop.

I haven't released that yet, as I wanted to release the next batch with a whole bunch of missions alongside Bargain Basement and world map taxi system.

And I was also still figuring out how to properly implement the next crew members abilities which have been resolved now.

@DrWilyeCoyote Yep, I had a story I've been wanting to tell for a long time and adore the world of Shadowrun.

Had some very difficult issues throughout the year, but I'm back on it and slowly working my way to releasing Bargain Basement.

@karenelizd With the next update I may do so, as there are secret branching paths that very few will figure. And some puzzles may stump a few people, but I do try to keep things simple.

any chance you will make a walktherough video or document? some of the areas like the bombed rigged parking lot are frustrating and it would be nice to have a place to look at that says what the solutions are.

Thanks for notifying me, it is not something that anyone I know has encountered yet. I'm not really sure what the cause is yet, but I'll add an autosave post combat for now, so players won't have to redo the battle due to the freeze.

@Armitage I didn't know if this is a common problem or not but as soon as i get done with the fight in Good Morning Black Friday. I get on the bus and it drives off then nothing happens. It dosent load the next scean just freezes

@Vexacuz Every class is covered except for a melee adept. The companion's will all for the most part have a unique move set.

And a typical traditional mage and Shaman won't be covered, so I guess you could building one of those. The player will also have access to some unique spells as well that no companions will have access too, even heaps of custom totems which will most likely need to be balanced overtime.

Send the drone trough the "Small gap" in the building by the left,..or with the Smg-Elf using his stride abitlity over the wall a little further back.

Then move a little north and destroy the target-able node.

@ycy3030 The quest where you just talk with NPC's to solve it (Slippery Pete) is an ode to the SNES Shadowrun game.

Even the way keywords unlock and you can talk to every NPC with each new keyword received, and they give a short answer based on their own personality and habits.

As for a marker, there are yellow arrows on the ground. Maybe I should have mentioned in a short tutorial box, but I figured MacGuffin talking about the alley will suffice.

If you are talking about picking up items in the warehouse for Donnie, there is a text box on the left of the screen which once when completed, you will get the goal complete. Hong Kong key items are added to every custom user generated content which takes up half the screen in the editor.

So I used the text box on the left to avoid using key items for a small trivial mission items. As I don't want to run out of space for more important items. When you get all the needed items, it will tell you.

The robe in the drawer you just have to save and reload, I have no idea why that item doesn't change the players outfit on the fly. But you do pick it up after you get the key.

Secret routes are optional, if players want some nice items that you won't find at shops or to save cash, they have the option to do so.

If it is not showing character an interact things, then that is most likely a bug.

@armitage I think, cuz i installed stat 20 mod and big font mod. but in the clean version of SR:HK. There are more bugs pop out!!!. I deleted and reinstall game, reinstall mod, and start new game. but I tried much effort, I quit. I think I am the only one face this hellava many bugs.

not showing character and interact things when choose get contraband drugs and talk with MacGuffin before talk with pete

cant get a robe when first meet with donnie, cant pick up items in warehouse...

so much annoying secret route to must explore....

no info about what to do or find shop and important person....etc

damn, plz tell me everything I said are,because of bug not you originally supposed to.

@ycy3030 Weird, I've never seen this issue regarding Ronny, as his dialogue tree only has two options. First time you talk to him, and after you've spoken to him. One or the other should trigger regardless. And I've doubled checked just in case.

I'll try and see if I can replicate it.

As for the decking optional jobs, 2 of them will come with the next update. I haven't implemented them yet as they were a lot more work than the normal optional jobs requirement completely new set of maps. And will be a lot longer than the typical ones.

an i forgot, the doctor who did medical check up me(who selling other cybernetics). i cant talk to him after I go out side at first time.
and i wonder is that a event or bug the method to talk him, which i have to check my previous life info at his computer and he automatically call me.

i cant talk ronny(who sells decker item) after finish take a ride on a wild side. when i clicked him game stops in a moment(loading just like any other npc's dialog) but nothing apper and things not changed.
Is there any quest to solve this or just a bug?

Yeah I considered making it turn based, but as the timer needs to count down during real time, as long as the player continues to move without stopping the round won't end.

I'll look into increasing the timer.

Exceeded my expectations.Good balance between story and Unlimited style sandbox.

One downside was the booby-trapped gas station mission: it took me multiple attempts to get through it correctly. The 4:30 minutes real-time timer doesn't pause when in combat, requiring bit of metagaming. Ideally, there should be a turn-based timer once in combat. Or more time on the timer, SRHK has fairly long turns.

@Starbuck Yeah, the whole Turrican soundtrack is godlike. I kind of wished I used the Amiga 500 version, it has this distorted punchy bassline and synth that the updated version can't replicate.

I had the same issue, reloaded an earlier save and tried it, making sure the baby face was sending out volts, as it wouldn't cont. if that attack was not happening...did the puzzle easy enough and finally 4 attempts later, it continued!

That link is broken. No worries though... it's not a difficult puzzle or anything. I of course did what it said to do, countless times now. I've tried every other combination, including the opposite of what we're supposed to do, and let myself die from mines and shocks all over the area just to exhaust every possibility, but nothing has ever happened to let me progress. I probably just need to reinstall it, too, and I'm sure I will. I've had lots of fun with playing through so far though, and it feels like a good place to stop for a little while.
