BIT crashing mod fix on startup

When trying to play https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2805477183

I get this error:

This is not the first time BIT caused crashes. I had to turn it off in the past once already (don't remember the mod I wanted to play).

What can be done to make BIT and mod fix work together?

P.S. BIT crashes classic mod on start up as well

small update - the mod seems to be working flawlessly in default workshop beta (without standalone mods - just in Gothic 2 NotR)
