I found out how this bug works. Thank you for reporting the error. Will be fixed in the next hotfix

Seems like an issue with Infernum, I know it's probably more Infernum but getting a read on what exactly it is, is a problem. Basically something in Infernum, after you research it in Journey mode it just breaks, causing the UI to bork out and then the creative tabs don't work anymore and they softlock freeze the game. I've even tried it with this mod but it does the same thing, sadly. Apologies, its been a few days and this issue has been huge

when i hit the keybind to research bag contents it doesnt work is there like a setting or something?

You can research the contents of the bag only after researching it. After this, an tooltip should appear in the tooltips list that when you press a certain button that you specified in the control settings, you can research everything that is inside the bag. If the contents of the bag have already been fully researched, then the button does nothing. In the next update I will make the tooltip disappear if everything in the bag has already been reserached

Hello, I'm very sorry that you encountered such a bug. Hyper Research does not interact with UI Journey Mode in any way. So it is least likely that the problem lies with this mod. I personally ran different combinations of mods, which always included Calamity, Infernum and Hyper Research, and did not find such a bug.
Have you tried disabling this mod and checking to see if the bug is gone?
To find out the reason for the bug, I would like to know what mods you played with. If the problem is truly related to this mod, it will be resolved immediately.

i think its because im using the upgraded research mod and that makes it so i research the bags automatically so thank you for the info

Yeah I did but it seems like no matter what Infernum has some kind of issue, I'll try it again though and see if there's something else going on though. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll post my mods if it's not successful

Well fortunately it's not this mods fault, it is however something to do with killing up to a certain boss and then all of a sudden ya just can't search anything up anymore in the Journey mode menu. Now i have found you can click on the tabs without it breaking but it still doesn't let you search, for whatever reason I don't know.

The good news is that Hyper Research had nothing to do with it, but it’s still a shame that the bug never went away. I hope this will be fixed in the future

That's how it should work. If you want items to be deleted immediately after researching, then I can add a new option in the config
