Team Fortress 2

Jarate Jinx [TAUNT]
Wonderful. a suggestion.
First of all, big fan of your work so i am in no way, shape or form of telling you how to do anything. i just wanted to suggest that maybe add a bit more? like have the death scream when he drops then have him slump over and say 'piss' I still voted anyways

I have my own suggestion: make people around the taunt get covered in Jarate.

i feel like it would also be cool if there was a rare chance for him not to drop it

would it be loop taunt where the sniper keep playing with the Jarate and when we cancel it it drops?

Yes, I think this, as well as other options are factors that the TF2 devs would need to have a discussion about for this taunt to be added into the game (which I hope it does--I love how smooth and detailed the animation is!), as it uses the Jarate sound effect and splash animation. The inclusion of the splash may potentially confuse players (though to counter that, confusion isn't necessarily bad if it's intentional by the devs--and players have found fun in using taunts as fighting strategies).

I'll just list the possible mechanic systems that I can think of for this taunt:

- Mercs standing around the taunt get covered in Jarate (The Pacifist Spy's suggestion). This includes both teams (enemies getting debuffed, team mates getting dowsed from fire).
- The player who uses the taunt gets affected by the Jarate (dowses them if they are already on fire, or get caught on fire, while taunting).
- The two above systems empty the Jarate bar, requiring the player to refill the bar with time or using a health cabinet.
- Or alternatively, they don't empty the Jarate bar, allowing players to repeat the taunt with all its effects still useable.
- Taunt is purely aesthetic. It does not empty the Jarate bar, nor does it affect any mercs (no debuffs/fire-dowsing).

I've listed them without my own opinions, as I've only been playing TF2 since May this year (4 months experience in TF2) and do not yet feel confident in recommending a particular mechanics system at the moment.
