There is also a "Scrap" variant of each bicycle type that can be found, or crafted! The scrap variant performs considerably worse than a factory bicycle.
You can put the bicycle back on the ground by right clicking its frame on your inventory and selecting "Drop". Your character will then reassemble the bicycle back with any parts you have in your inventory. Be mindful to remove accessories BEFORE picking up bicycles, as you may lose them in the process.
At fitness levels 8+, you will barely get tired from pedalling. Regardless, you can set the cruise control at lower speeds so you tire less, or simply take a break!
Be warned however, as if you try to pedal when you are very exhausted, your character will fall off the bicycle, and can even get hurt!
It's also possible to adjust these mechanics and define custom values for them.
