Feedback BETA 5 - June 2024
New thread so I can work through the existing in peace.

If reporting a bug, please try to provide any and all relevant details about the issues or error you encountered, otherwise its hard for me to help.

Changes Confirmed for Beta 6
New Features
  • Controller Support!
  • Rebalanced Container Sizes
  • Many containers are now "squishable", shrinking in size when empty.
  • Clothing pocket system!
    • The players small pockets are now determined by worn clothing.
  • Compatibility Warning System
    • Displays warning on startup when known incompatible mods are detected.
  • New Sandbox Options
    • Option to prevent infinite space via bag stacking
    • Option to disable carry weight restrictions
  • Event system for injecting additional render logic on grid items
  • Weapon attachments now support drag-n-drop
  • Horizontal scrollbars
  • The floor is now considered organized

Fixes
  • Fixed inability to place generators in containers (trunks)
  • Fixed various bugs around container windows
  • Container weight is now hidden until a container is searched in search mode.
  • Improved compatibility with build mods (i.e Disassemble Container With Items)
  • Fixed some bugs around player death/respawning
  • Increased the search session memory limit. (Fixes infinite search bug with community data packs)
  • Fixed rotated item rendering
  • Fixed rendering issues with textures from other mods
  • Fixed rendering issue with non-square textures when using scales above 1x
  • Compatibility with Proximity Inventory
  • Fixed inability to place logs into metal drums from bags
  • Fixed inability to place bait into traps from bags

Hopefully already on the list, but in multiplayer unable to double click backs to view contents. (if bag or item with items is inside of another container)

Hi, I am the author of one of the addons and I really would like to see the function of customizing specific cells in one container (if it is possible). For example, we have a military vest, which visually has 4 slots for the gun magazine and a bag for small things. It would be great to customize 4 cells 2 by 1 that they could put only magazines and ammunition, and under these cells to make a small container for example for bandages. Thanks for the great mod, can't play without it! :spiffo:

Yes it is, the idea, which isn't coming through properly on Beta 5, is to give a true reason to have a medkit. It will be a 2x2 container that can only hold med items that is 5x5 on the inside.

i cannot place a freezer.
I took a gas station "ICE" freezer, those that are outside a gas station, took both parts 1/2 and 2/2 and bringed them to my base, when i tried to assemble it, the game kept the silloutte in red, meaning i couldn't. it didn't allow me to put it anywhere, i tried with both pieces in my inventory, and in the ground, in and out of my base, nothing.

Mod conflict, usually something that's letting you pickup containers that still have items inside.

hey Notloc thx for the awesome mod, i am really looking forward to getting this to work, its a game changer 10/10 pure gold idea of a mod.

basically having things disappearing out of my hands during certain actions. i searched the incompatible mods list and deleted all the mods i had on there, started new game before trying tetris inventory.

so i had a cloth bag in my hand and looting a vending machine, when placing an energy drink into a garbage bag that was within my main inventory, the garbage bag disappeared. then moments later i found a water cooler, and accidentally clicked the option to remove the water jug from the top, which after being removed disappeared. then, with the cloth bag still in hand, i tried to switch to a two handed weapon, and the cloth bag disappeared. i am 99% sure none of these items were dropped on the ground.

probably a mod incompatibility on my end, but i thought i would drop the message here in case it could somehow help you or me :)

edit: maybe one of the container renaming mods causes issues?

The search mode is missing an option to hide the weight of the containers, so I don't skip them without searching

When in MP and another player is looking inside the same container, moving items from the player's inventory to the container, the item gets placed randomly.

Incompatible with Superb Survivors NPC Barricading mechanic.

Any NPC orders to barricade cause them to only barricade once instead of automatically all the windows in a building. They stop after barricading one plank. Spent an hour troubleshooting all the possible mods. EquipmentUI, this mod, and Superb Survivors were the only enabled mods to recreate this bug.

There is some bug with MP where you and another player check the same inventory the items would move randomly and also cannot open containers in cars, sometimes the containers/car inventory would also bug whenever you die with organized trait.

It seems that I can only reload mags from the top personal inventory box, not from the plate carrier I equipped.

Seems to be incompatible with the mod "School's Out: Anime-Style Student Uniforms".

Whenever there is an unfolded tie inside of the inventory it vanishes and spam errors, within a container it causes the grid to become invisible. Also upon re-loading the save it prevents interacting with containers and makes the entire hud and menus vanish.

How I re-created the issue:
- Removed all other mods
- Started new save
- On character creation equip any triangle tie
- Unfold tie in-game

Fixes:
- Removing inventory tetris and reloading the save fixes everything, you can then fold the tie and re-load the mods and everything works normally.

Where can I download beta 6? There are no mod updates on my Steam page, and there are no links in the mod description either. I really liked the mod, but... there is a weight limit, this is very intimidating
