If you want to create your own faction (country or other), here is a little guide to help you.

Everything happens in xml files only, you don't need any coding knowledge.

You basically only have to go to the mod files and copy those of a particular faction changing the texts and "defnames" to adapt them to the faction you want to create.

If you get lost in the mod files, I created a template that you can download and which contains just the basic files to modify to create your faction, you just have to replace the texts written EXAMPLE by what you want, you can download it here

The basic files are in :

• FactionDefs: which allows you to create your faction
  
  
• CultureDefs: to create your culture (the list of surnames and first names can be found in the Languages-> English->strings folder)
  
  
• PawnkindDefs: To create the pawns of your factions
  
  
• ThingsDefs: To create the weapons and apparels used by the pawns of your faction
  
  
• TraderKindDefs: To create the items that your faction's bases and caravans will sell
  
  The rest is optional, you can then create specific backstories, symbols, buildings, and even assign them an ethnicity with the Mods -> Humanoid Alien Races folder.
  
  
  For textures of clothes and others, contact me too and I can direct you to talented artists, if you only have military clothes to create, you can send me only the pattern of your faction and I could create a version of Helmet, Bulletproof vest and military uniform with your pattern.
  
  
  Unfortunately, I don't have time to help each of you personally to create the faction of your choice from A to Z, however if you follow the template well it should be very easy, if your faction is well advanced and that you want to add it to the mod, feel free to contact me.
