hi I cant set hunger deterioration to a decimal (it has to be a whole number), and food values cant go above 100... if I could actually set the values then it would be a good mod

for example, fruits only give a value of 4, which if the minimum value you can set hunger to is 1 gives you 4 seconds...

Interesting

So your telling me you would want your hunger depleted faster like 1 is deducted every .5 seconds and you want the food to be very high?, I think setting the hunger rate to 1 is definitely fast enough in a normal survival play through, if its not difficult enough, set the food points to a lower value so it's harder to overall increase your hunger. If your trying to say you want it easier than you can set the hunger rate to a value of 5, which means a fruit with the value of 4 (or any number higher) gives 20 seconds.
no im saying its too difficult. If 1 food point is drained a second, and foods cannot be configured to give more than 100, then the best food items in the game only give like a minute and a half... and fruits giving 4 by default, how do you expect me to find a food item every 4 seconds?

we need to either be able to decrease the rate of food points deteriorating to a decimal (0.1 a second or something), or be able to make food items worth more than 100 points

You can buy food from NPC's later and also read the config, because turning up the hunger rate to 5 actually slows your deteriorating down. So if you set a food item to 50 and set that to 5 then you can get 250 seconds of hunger.

Decimal value would make it go down way quicker, for the way I have it coded
