No, MURDER is wrong. The 10 commandments prohibit MURDER. If killing were wrong, the bible would preach that we be vegetarians and never eat meat.

"Thou shall not kill" is a mistranslation, as Hebrew has different words to distinguish between the mere act of killing, and the crime of murder.

The proper commandment is "Thou shall not murder".

Common misconception.

murder is only wrong, if you are on a life and death situation where you have to kill your enemy in order to keep living, god will not punish you because it is urgent, god only punishes those that murder intentionally and for tragedy.
Tap Jun 16, 2023 @ 4:47pm
although murdering a person intentionally is payed with the punishment of eternal fire, a place called Infierno (hell) Revelation 21:8. "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

the laws of Leviticus still apply in certain circumstances. it depends on the law. for example eating pork is ok, but some are still valid. for example everything in Leviticus 18 is still correct (mainly cause its all common sense)
