Skull Reaper:

Lore: The skull reaper, also more commonly known as the reaper, is an undead dragon simalier to the skelltor. A terrifying quadrepedal lion-like dragon, reapers actual behaviour is nothing like their appearance might suggest. Simalier to the skelltor they are relatively docile, however are more wary of strangers that would approach them.
Thus it would be wise for everyone to keep their distance from the reapers. Due to their high intelligence they cannot simply be knocked out and tamed, nor can they be bribed with food. However it is rumored that the reapers may warm up to strangers who clean the grime and muck from its bones, which the creature itself cannot get rid of, and even stick around with those who provide it constant maintenance.
In return the skull reaper will aid its new friend with its ability to wield the rare dark element!

Description: A skeletal manticore-like creature.

- Immune to radiation, dark element, fear, courage, and low diseases.
- Starts off with base 100 soul, which regenerates by 1 per second when not draining. This value can be leveled up and scaled with its "water" stat like leviathorgan, and isnt affected by water draining debuffs.
- Soul regeneration can be increased by leveling its soul regeneration stat.

- Can be tamed without items. You just need to "Clean" wild ones of the grime and dirt stuck inside their bones. NOTE: YOU HAVE TO CROUCH.
- At times the reaper will be in an aggressive state, notified by the orange glow around their heads.


[Reaper Bleed]: Ticks for a flat 1 damage every 1 second. Ticks for 2 damage every 0.25 seconds if the target is moving and scales with the targets movement speed %. The inflicted also takes 2% more damage per stack of bleed. Stacks up to 10 times. This debuff lasts 10 seconds.

[Dark Element]: Inflicts 100 base damage that scales with melee instantly. This debuff lasts 5 seconds and while active the inflicted takes 25% increased damage.

Griphon:

Lore: A small bird-like dragon, simalier to how a griffin seems to be a hybrid of a bird and lion, the griphon resembles a hybrid between a bird and a dragon. Expectedly fragile for their size, griphons take advantage of their streamlined body to execute extremely careful dive-by strikes to weaken prey before using their momentum to surge back into the air out of reach, once their prey begins to exhaust and lose too much blood, griphons descend and finish off the now helpless prey.

Description: A dragon with feathered wings and body, however its neck, head, and tail are scaled.

Yama-Ya-Ku:

Lore: The most "normal" looking of the bird wyverns, skittish yama-ya-ku are flock based wyverns who's groups can number up to the hundreds. Simalier to ostriches and other flightless large birds, yama-ya-ku are usually skittish and quick to flee a situation. Although their surprisingly sharp beak is capable of delivering painful strikes to smaller nuisances.
Depending on one's skill, yama-ya-ku may be a preferrable mount over gallimimus, if they're willing to accept the fact this wyvern isn't as physically powerful.

Fulgurjaw:

Lore: A fanged wyvern, the fulgurjaw is a small terrestrial wyvern with an organ capable of ejecting powerful, controlled blasts of electricity. Using their electricity, they lace their scales with electricic currents to deliver nasty burns to foes that physically attack it.
Due to their smaller size and sharp claws, fulgurjaw's are capable of climbing on walls and lunging from surface to surface. Adept swimmers and quickly able to navigate rough terrain, fulgurjaw's have found another use for some survivors. As it turns out, fulgurjaws can utilize their electricity to power up fellow allies who possess an affinity for electricity!

Description: A drake with chainmail-like armor and spikes with covered eyes.

Obsidioserpent:

Lore: Large wyrms that coil themselves around mountaintops or wind around deserts, the Obsidioserpent is a highly territorial geovore with highly corossive acid that it fires at anything it percieves as a threat that gets too close. Obsidioserpents utilize their armored bodies to ragdoll smaller rivals until they are too weak to fight back, before finishing them off with considerably powerful jaws.
These large wyrms are capable of swinging their head like a club or sweep with their long tails to topple creatures as sturdy as rock golems! As stubborn as they are rare, it can be extremely difficult to down Obsidioserpents due to their thick skin, however those survivors who are just as stubborn as the wyrm might just be rewarded with a mighty mount for their dedication!

Description: A dark purplish blue snake-like creature with spikes across its body and a large horn on its head.

Elemental Drake:

Lore: Believed to be a distance ancestor of the elderitch drake, the "elemental" drake is a species of drake that resembles the one from the damaged ark, but is smaller & featherless. While still capable of climbing on walls simalier to the feathered variant, it seems these creatures lack the other notable abilities that the rock drake possess.
However this species has its own unique ability, or abilities. The elemental drake is born without any special abilities, but depending on the environment around it the drake may take on characteristics & gain an elemental affinity to better adapt & survive in its habitat. It seems that depending on the environment the drake's physical appearance may be slightly altered as well.
Once the drake has taken on an elemental adaptation however, it appears to be unable to change that affinity to another.
The elemental affiliation of the drake does not appear to be passed down to their offspring.
At rare times, an elemental drake may be born with a mutation that allows it to semi-acquire a second elemental affinity; however, this too does not seem to increase the chance of this mutation being passed on to its offspring.

Description: A drake without feathers, their physical traits differ slightly however based on the variant.

- Drakes naturally spawn in the wild with random elements. Elements are not genetic & bred individuals are elementless. If they lack an element you can make a drake a certain element by crafting the element in their inventory. You cannot switch a drakes element.
- Drakes naturally reduce the weight of crystal, sand, & eggs in their inventory by 75%.

===[Mutation Mechanic]===
- By breeding drakes there is a 5% chance that a drake baby may get a mutation, this mutation allows it a secondary element. The secondary element gives the drake the ability to utilize the secondary elemennt variants attack on Rctrl, but does not grant immunity or resistance to said element.
- NOTE: this has nothing to do with ark's "Mutation" system, stat & color mutations have nothing to do with the drakes mutation mechanic.
- The mutation is genetic, breeding two mutated drakes doesn't have a higher chance for their offspring to be mutated.
- The secondary element cannot be the same as the primary. Once the primary element has been decided it is removed from possible choices for secondary.
- The items consumed will be counted towards the PRIMARY element. Once the primary element has been set, items consumed will contribute towards the SECONDARY element.
- Mutated drakes bodies are still only harvested for the drops that a drake with only 1 element would have. Which would be their primary element.
- There are a FEW elements that are incompatible, meaning if 1 is the primary element, said other element can no longer be secondary.

- NOTE: To cancel the "learning/crafting" of an elemental mode, remove the resources needed to craft it. You cannot cancel the queue normally for some reason.
- NOTE2: The projectiles of the drakes are glitched on servers & dedicated servers, however their hitboxes & AOE as well as other effects still work as if they were working correctly. The projectiles properly fly on singleplayer. In order for me to fix this bug, I would practically need to recode the creature, its attacks, its projectiles, everything from the ground up again, & in my opinion is not worth fixing if its only a visual bug.

Serratodora:

Lore: Despite it's physical resemblance to a drake, the serratodora has been classified as a fanged wyvern. Large spikes grow on this wyverns body, increasing in size as they run down its body & onto its tail.
Serratodora is a solitary creature, preferring to live alone rather than with a pack, despite its smaller size. This wyvern utilizes its deadly tail to defend itself & lash prey, although its sharp claws & teeth would be just as effective against the prey it hunts.
As expected, this wyvern has few natural predators on the ark due to its hazardous spikes & aggressive behavior.
When encountering rival serratodora in their territory, they do not use their tail but instead utilize their forearms to grapple each other in an attempt to topple the other onto their side. This method of disputing territory is simalier to many modern day animals. By not brandishing lethal weapons against their opponent, very rarely do serratodora become fatally injured against eachother.
Both male & female serratodora will battle for territory in this manner, & their opponents are not limited to members of the same gender.
Outside of territorial disputes however, this wyvern utilizes its spiky tail to stab deep into its opponent's flesh, before tearing chunks out by pulling & swinging its tail around. This has often resulted in them performing spins & twirls that would be almost comedic, if it weren't for the violently brutal injuries & bloodloss this inflicts on the opponent.

Lindwyrm:

Lore: A serpentine creature with 2 large, muscular arms; the lindwyrm is a relative of the worm. While not the strongest creatures overall, these serpents possess very powerful arms which they use to traverse the land & tear through the ground, allowing them to burrow through solid rock.
Lindwyrm are intelligent creatures, aware of their below average physical strength, they instead rely on cunning & utilize ambush techniques; using their excellent burrowing ability to their best potential & bursting up from underneath unsuspecting prey to deliver a swift bite before diving back under.
Additionally, lindwyrm are excellent swimmers; however, their arms do not appear to be a large part in this. Instead, lindwyrm follow their relatives technique of "slithering" through the water with their serpentine body.
Due to their intelligence & tactical combat approach, it is difficult to render one unconscious with tranquilizers, as lindwyrm like to retreat underground once weakened or high on torpor. However it has been observed that they startle from powerful vibrations whilst in the ground, leading some survivors to suggest the use of explosives to force them back out!

Thanatoir:

Lore: A bone draconian creature simaliar to skeletor, thanatoir originally came from a world far more magical in nature than the spirit dragon. Resembling the skeleton of a rock drake, thantoir are extremely aggressive, violent dragons that are powerful enough to drive powerful apexes from entire regions, causing enough damage to cause ecological collapse due to the displacement of natural predators.
Extremely deadly and agile for their size, thanatoir have been regarded with danger levels as high as that of a red dragon due to their nature alone, despite not being powerful as one. Thankfully the prescence of survivors that originated from the same arks as this terrifying monster have allowed most tribes to prepare countermeasures against this ecological disaster of a dragon, but there is something terrifying these survivors have to say.
According to some of them, thanatoir on their arks were much more terrifying than ours. Apparently thanatoirs on their native arks appeared far more abominable, and could grow over twice as large, along with possessing magical abilities that are described to be so powerful, they may have even exceeded the power of the red dragon Azarion!
It is horrifying to think what might happen if one of those thanatoirs made its way onto these arks. The simple fact that those thanatoirs could raise an army of undead alone could allow them to destabilize the arks at an even faster rate.
Luckily, no such creature has emerged as of yet, and the arks appear to be taking countermeasures to deal with these... unwelcome guests...

Deinodogaron:

Lore: Size isn't everything, even in a world of dragons. The Deinodogaron is a medium sized fanged wyvern that bears resemblance to a canine-crocodilian. This wyvern possesses extremely sharp and jagged teeth which allow it to rip out chunks of flesh from its prey.
However these adaptations alone do not make this fanged wyvern so successful; this predator owes most of that credit to its high intelligence. They have been observed cooperating with other species of carnivores to hunt more difficult prey, and even forming short term alliances!
Due to their willingness to work toghether with other species, some tribes have managed to befriend these fanged wyverns by consistently aiding them in their hunts!

Invadur:

Lore: An enormous pterosaur-like wyvern, Invadur can be found in all kinds of habitats that they do not naturally come from. These territorial titans often clash with eachother in their efforts to expand their territories, which can range hundreds of miles for some individuals. As such, rarely do adult invadur allow others of their kind in their grounds, especially when it comes to adult males.
Due to this, younger and smaller invadur often venture far away from their birthplace to acquire territories of their own once they have reached an age where they may be considered a threat to the current alpha; their conquest often leads them to clash with powerful creatures in said distant lands, including dragons. However, as expected of titans with the ferocity to dominate such large areas of land, this wyvern has adaptations which allow it to hold its own against these powerful rivals.
Their scales are extremely though and thick, making it difficult for most creatures to land a good bite, even if they did, the invadur can detonate its scales at will to deal massive damage! Even the mighty saurian and raiju have fallen victim to this soaring titan's fiery scales!

Description: A quetz-like wyvern with armor similiar to the pangolin wyvern, it has a large crest and long tail as well as a thick neck. When attacking its neck scales glow.

Riverian:

Lore: Slithering through the rivers on the ark, the riverian; also known as the river drake, is a very small, human sized drake well adapted to life in shallow water. While its physical prowess is lackluster, survivors have found an ability of the riverian that may have allowed it to play a unique role on its native ark.
Riverian are capable of ingesting specific substances, and then regurgitating it back out to give its allies special effects temporarily. Through many experiments, several of these abilities have been discovered.
While riverian are not physically robust enough to carry the weight of a human, this ability of it allows it to follow survivors around on their underwater adventures, providing a method of acquiring specific types of aid whenever the survivor may need it.

Fenghuang:

Lore: Simalier to the fiery bird of scorched earth, the larger "cousin" of the phoenix appears to be a bird wreathed in flames. But in stark contrast to the wild and lively flames of its more famous cousin, the fenghuang's fire appears far more tame and under control.
Fenghuang's may lack the speed, ferocity, and agility of the firebird, but more than make up for it with their unique flames. The white flame from the fenghuang doesn't seem to be too threatening at first glance, but make no mistake, fenghuang's flames may be even more devastating of that of a black dragon, barring alarion.
While its flames are rather ineffective against smaller targets, for some reason they seem to increase drastically in effectiveness against larger ones. This makes this counterpart of the phoenix far deadlier when facing opponents whos larger size usually mean they are more resistance towards normal fire!
However it should be noted despite this strange quirk, that otherwise this "Spirit" fire appears to act like normal flame otherwise (if anything else it lacks some other useful traits of fire!), and is rendered ineffective against opponents who are naturally resistant or immune to flames due to their ecology.

Gryphon:

Lore: A simalier creature to the griffin, the gryphon is a much larger creature with a bird-like head and lion shaped body. Although they are closely related to the royal griffin, the gryphon is much more comfortable on the ground than their smaller cousins.
Unlike their relative, the gryphon is a rather friendly animal with a high degree of intellect. Able to quickly remember faces and befriend humans and other species alike.
Gryphon are extremely powerful, capable of flying with their less than ideal-sized wings while carrying up to 3 survivors on its back! In addition to this, wild gryphons hone their hunting skills from a young age, raised in an enviorment filled with dangerous creatures such as dragons means that they learn new techniques quickly or else they will not survive!
However as friendly as they may be, gryphons intelligence means they will hold long grudges against the very people that harm them and their allies. While most preferr the speed and agility provided by the royal griffin, some prefer the more loyal and protective gryphons their main mount!

Barghest:

Lore: A creature that resembles a large black wolf, the barghest is a powerful predator boasting very powerful jaws and keen sense of smell. Barghest's bite are not only dangerous from raw power alone, but their teeth also allow them to cause their victims to bleed.
What makes the barghest's bite unique however, is the fact that it does not seem to cause any sort of lethal bloodloss, instead it prevents its victim from recovering from injuries inflicted by it, or other creatures! By targetting specific parts of its prey, the barghest can also cripple its victim simultaneously. This allows the creature to employ hit and run tactics to weaken its prey before finishing it off at a later time.
However that is not the only use for this wolf-like creatures bite, as the bleeding inflicted through its bite seems to trigger the frenzy instincts usually activated by normal bleeding inflictions, meaning that by potentially pairing barghest with creatures such as nemesis, lochmaw, or vampere, the barghest can actually help draw out its allies full potential for longer periods of time than normal!

Canis Infernum:

Lore: Canis infernum, more commonly known as the hellhound, is a large canine that secretes an oily substance from its skin. This oily substance works akin to actual oil and can be ignited, covering the creature in flames. However the hellhound doesn't seem to mind, and may even ignite the oil itself before charging into battle.
In addition to its skin, the canis infernum seems to be able to produce this oil internally as well, weaponizing the oil into a flamethrower it uses to scorch its fleeing prey and sear flesh and muscle from their unfortunate victims body. Once their prey has been weakened, the hellhound moves in to deliver a powerful bite to the cranium, piercing through solid bone and impaling its sharp teeth into their brains.
Fortunately for survivors, this large canine-like creature seems to prefer hunting alone rather than in packs, so the chances that one would stumble upon multiple hounds at once is very low.
Even so, a single canis infernum should not be underestimated, the dragonkin that have arrived on the arks long before it appeared are unlikely to be anything simaliar to the native species that this hellhound hunts, but canis have quickly adapted to compete against their new draconian adversaries!
