Feedback on the Mod
Hey @SneakWorks!
Made a discussion because character limit on comments.

Love the mod and I am simply amazed about how well done this is. The enemies are extremely varied and interesting, the execution is perfectly immersive and overall enjoyable! This could easily have been sold as a DLC for the game and I wouldn't notice it was fan-made.

That being said, after playing it well over 10 times, I feel like some parts are excessively unfair or unpredictable for the player when it comes to missions:

1- Suffering losses even when achieving success in a test: While realistic and understandable for the context of the events, given how unforgiving it is to take losses from a supply & time point of view, this can easily doom a mission where the player did nothing wrong costing what amounts a minimum of 7 supplies between starting the original mission, healing the random loss, healing the surviving losses of the failed mission and paying the cost for the next attempt, not to mention possible deaths from key allied troops, possibly dooming the run.

2- This one might be unintended, but not being able to see all future challenges from a mission after started, like you can do with the base-game's expeditions: Like from point 1, this puts severe strain when a challenge appears that has a cost too high to cover.

3- Most of the random challenges have costs that can't be reached with single cards, and considering it allows you a single card slot to try to beat it, can be very painful in combination with the lack of prior information, although this is mostly the result of point 2.

4- Cancelling the entire mission on a failure: This would still be punishing enough if simply caused losses but allowed the player to add more for future attempts or adding the Toy Soldier to call the mission off, but failing the entire mission on a single mistake can be especially brutal if combined with the previous points I made.

Either way, I'll certainly keep an eye on updates for it and for future mods from you! Amazing work!
