I don't *really* think this mod needs further recommendation, but I literally bought The Exile DLC just so I could play this. I have since played both; my verdict is this mod is (in my opinion) genuinely better than the DLC I paid for. Crazy tough, the mod WANTS to end your bloodline, but it is oh so sweet to persevere and claim your namehood.

Is it possible to temporarily send way your named allies for the duel with the edge long? Its kind of annoying that you can spend so much time levelling them up only for them to be permanently banished because of a coin flip at the start of the game

I also think explosives should have a better use or something to incentivize you to use it more often since they are too weak to be used for counter attacks and dont do much against much else since 1.Most dual challenges are not Edge and Forge and 2. Neither are high enough to be used against anything. Maybe to close the gap if you dont have the right allies, but you often get 4 Forge opportunities anyways. One suggestion i have is making obstacles like barricades get an automatic success if you use explosives. Like how armour-piercing ammo does with tanks. Or simply having more dual Edge/Forge challenges in general. I mean, im pretty sure explosives should be able to counter some basic infantry men. I believe that's all for now, your mod is really fun to play. And it feels pretty tense most of the time. Once i had to stall the timer from injuries in my eye, arm, and leg while my army marched to the next city. Got like 30s on each one. Anyway's, keep up the good work.

I believe half of my current playtime has been spent playing this mod. It is that good, but i have to critique that the start of each run does take quite a good bit before starting proper. First from the opening, then from the march. whis is around a bit more of 3 minutes(speed up) of doing nothing besides some scout on the way there. Maybe the march on the first city could take less time. Or there could be more things to do in a ruined country like random opportunities that you only could try your luck at once each run. Maybe enemies appear more often. Not only that, it does seem to lack a bit on the replayability factor, since so far as i have seen, you could go though the exact same route of cities to get a similar run to your last one. Which is interesting if yore someone who likes to route and optimize. Thus, i conclude that this mod is pretty good, but lacks a bunch on the replay factor.

Hi, is there any options or settings to change the music back to the classic cult-sim soundtrack? I found that after a while the music got grating after a while especially since the track doesn't change as far as i could notice, so any option to be able to configure it would be really nice, if it's not a lot of trouble to code or something.

The enemy long is capable of eating refuelling german bombers when he is on his rampage (which i was very grateful for but I suspect is unintended)

Ok know what, nevermind what I said, I was just an idiot. I didnt realise the Call to Duty with the dream thing gave different responses and i just got one that explicitly told me I'm supposed to do the fighting. I owe you an apology, it wasn't a problem with the mod at all, I just got a bad roll of the dice.

If you still wanna make the change tho go ahead. Just know that your mod truly doesn't have an achilles heel.

I like the mod, but I got to say, the thing Arat brings up is an issue. Its a bit sucky how I can be locked out of getting named. Everything about it leading up to the decision made it make perfect sense: I am not his eternal enemy, so I cannot fight him. I have met his eternal enemy, so I should have them fight. It is not only a test of skill to get to the Continental, but to also get her to fight her longtime foe. locking him back in the perpetual battle? That is some battlefield cunning and common sense.

If it isn't a major trial for you, might I suggest you make her dialogue a bit more obvious that you're supposed to fight him and not her? While its clear you need to do great things to be named, the entire thing with the Warmaker is just a bit of a mixed signals moment. Her dialogue for the option that leads to getting named just sounds more like she's about to give you a tip or a hint. Its just gonna lead to a lot of wasted time.

@Furor Teutonicus - Your next destination is drawn from a deck of cities, which can only be drawn once and never again. If you draw a city and don't travel to it, you will be unable to go to it again. You issue does sound strange though; I'll look into it and try to replicate it.

@咕咕咕 - You are in the Ruined Country whenever you travel between Warzones.

For anyone else having the same problem on a linux or mac machine, it's apparently an issue with Roost when loading the music. You can fix the problem by running cultist simulator using Proton.

Hi, I'm having a problem where I'm not having any music when starting an Apostle Obdurant run. I'm using the beta branch, and my installed mods are Ghirbi, Roost machine, Apostle Obdurant, and Achieve Integrations. If it matters, I'm playing on linux.

Hi @SneakWorks, thanks for you mod and I really enjoy it! I could only complete 7-8 resolutions before getting to Starlingrad, even if I win every war zone and never retreat. After 8 resolutions the only destination I can found is Starlingrad, and it happened twice. Just wondering how is the "next city" generated? Thanks alot!

@Sepulchurz - That is not a bug. Any card placed there when you use Doves that way will be destroyed, as marked by the little candle icon on the slot. Be careful what you decide to sacrifice for passage.

Just leaving this out here for anyone who hears the normal cult music. When you activate the mods you can move them up and down in the 6th history section. Also with gibi and roost be sure to restart when activating the 2 then add the rest.

I have identified the source of the problem, which was due to not adjusting the game version to the "gateof horn" version, causing it to not run. Now the game can run normally. Thank you very much.:steamthumbsup:

@鸽子 - You might not be on the most updated version of the Roost; try unsubbing and then resubbing to the mod. Also make sure your mod order is like this, from highest/on top to lowest/on bottom: Ghirbi, Roost, Proterant, Obdurant

The game keeps showing that "The Roost Machine" is not enabled or installed, but I have actually installed and enabled it. This bug prevents me from playing the game normally. How can I solve this problem?

@Lotus1031 - When you arrive at a Warzone, some Allies that spawn will be marked with the "Local" aspect; these ones will not follow you out of a Warzone when you leave. Please check if the Allies you are leaving behind have that aspect, because if so, that is intended behavior. If Allies that do NOT have the Local aspect are being left behind, then I will take a look.

@Hollow - Yes, a trilogy for each of the Edge Hours is intended.

@stelonAlone - You could spawn the card if you wish; it won't break your save. The card's id is side.camilla .

Hey, first of all - absolutely wonderful work, I love this mod. Thank you for creating this.

Secondly - I have made a mistake of leaving the town without completing an unusual skirmish and because I have a good run I was wondering whether or not I could just spawn the card for myself with the console. I don't however know whether or not this breaks the save which I would rather avoid.

Could you please tell me if that will work and what command should I input, or at least how to find that cards id?

@茶泽 - Unfortunately this is an issue with the game itself having to process so many cards coming out of a verb when you arrive at a new Warzone. I looked for ways to resolve this during development but nothing worked

@LazarusGlaz - This bug should be resolved now

@octos - You only have one chance to find the Edge-Long you need to progress, yes. If An Unusual Skirmish appears and you don't complete it/talk to the Long, you won't get another chance.

@Orgenmonkey - Should be resolved now, too.

@德莱特112 - Check the guide in the Discussion Tab for some hints.

Found a BUG:When I use "Voice of Iron" at "Ruined Country",my"A Grail-Adept(Exhausted)"turn into "A Winter-Adept"!

Going on the lake quest for the ragged sword seems to be bugged? It ate my current warzone on departure and then kept cycling looking for more warzones.

The first play is amazing. However in the late period of the game it becomes a marathon, let alone the long freeze while marching to a new city.
I wonder whether there would be just a single chance to find the edge long in the battlefield? I believe that I've already completely scouted for 5 cities but i didnt find her.
And what about the object in the wasteland? I only met it once a time, however i was in a hurry and missed it. Is is also once-for-all?

I can't defend from bomber because he's refueling! It just have no any aspects but can attack!

Recently, when assembling troops for the next war zone, each time the assembly is completed, the game gets stuck for much longer than when you reach a new war zone
I've looked at how it wasn't a PC performance issue

For one, this is probably the largest modded legacy available. It is also by far the hardest MF thing I've ever done in Cultist Simulator, and makes the Major victories look like training simulators. My successful play through of this one took me 30/40 hours across several days, and even then I only barely eked out a win. This is after restarting 20-30 times and after losing a 15 hour run to some pretty bad luck. 9/10 - Will never play this legacy again.

Bug: You can communicate with a fatigued quest ally (associate). This will not give you anything but will make you unable to get a quest (side mission) from them later (this happened to me in Vilna with Dr. Ismailov).

Maybe bug: Verbs from The Engine of the World can bring enemies to Ruined Country.
