Items Not On Wiki Discussion
Not a post saying "Update the wiki!", I mean this can be used to talk about items not yet added to the wiki, for people who want to craft/farm for certain items

Currently, I'm in the circumstance where I desperately need to use the wiki, yet nothing I need has been added yet. Most important thing is the Abyss, as I need Abyss Fragments, the wiki says to get them from chests above the city, but there's an issue: They're all requiring a key I have no way of obtaining because I don't know if it's a drop, craft, or rare find. Does anyone know where to get this key?

you probably dont need this now but the Drowned Key is crafted with the Shadow Key + a golden key and ectoplasm. I believe there were also enemies in the abyss that dropped them but idk.

right now I'm at the post moonlord boss summons. most of them have pretty okay wiki documentation and hints, but "craft it with a ruby" doesnt make any fkin sense and the wiki only says "have over 600hp". trying to summon at 600 doesnt work, has to be over. how can i do this?

does anyone here know where to find essence of darkness? I need it for the ultimate torch and i cant find anything that says where i get it

This is an updated item in the new version. It needs to find a new environment under the snowfield. Obtained by killing a monster in its environment. Note that if your map was created before the update, you will need to create a new map. There are also monsters that drop the item that are not created until they are in hard mode.

ah dang, i was at the boss at the time it updated, oh well. Thanks for the help though!

So, since I've seen several people asking in the comments, I figured I'd share my discoveries about the spell pages.

To use them, you need a bookmark. You can craft it with early hardmode materials. Equipping it gives you two slots to put spell pages in. If you put a page in there and hold out a magic weapon from either vanilla or Homeward Journey, then right click, you can start its casting combo.

They're actually a really cool mechanic and even the prehardmode ones have their uses throughout the game, but they're damn tricky to figure out how to use at first.
