It'd probably be very painful to do so - but having the icons autoselect based on selected traits would be pretty cool. Auto fangs if they have the bloodfeeder gene, auto Yttakin if they have the furskin trait, Yttakin with fangs if they have both, etc

Also, catgirl/boy icons - I always run with at least a few catfellas and the fact theres only one fitting one in vanilla is a bit lame

That sounds like something that should have been built into the DLC's code, probably non feasible to do from scratch
Idk, Im sure some absolutely insane person will eventually figure it out. Still though, catgirls: big fan of them
How about adding a button to edit the custom xenotypes' descriptions in the creator? I don't know if that falls within the scope of the mod or is doable, but it would definitely add more flavor to custom xenotypes.

Hi so not a suggestion but more of a question I'm making a mod and I used one of your icons as a base for my xenotype icon. I did change it so I'm not just straight up copying it but I wanted to make sure that was ok. I will of course mention this mod as a source for the icon when I publish it. Is that alright? I can make my own if it isn't I just liked yours and figured it was easier to use it as a base. Wasn't sure how else to get in contact hence why I posted here

The choice of vanilla xenotype icons is hopelessly limited, and while this mod improves that dramatically, we still only have icons that represent the superficial appearance of the xenotype.

This may be a bit different from the intent of this mod, but I think that a feature that would allow Ideology icons to be used for xenotypes would make for a much wider range of options.

or, more simply, we would welcome new such "abstract" icons to be devised and added to this mod.

Because while xenotypes do indeed represent race, they have their origins. Therefore, the xenotypes would be more broad and unique if we could use abstract icons that represent their origins as xenotype icons.

I would suggest AFU Cosmetic Gene half human-animal icons? Rabbit, Snake, Dracon, Fox, E.t.c.?
Obligatory dwarf suggestion as it's a pretty popular thing to theme a community around (i.e. Stoneborn). But I was also curious, how would someone upload a custom icon to that same pool of choices? If I made a icon I wanted to use for a custom Xenotype how do I make it a choice like your mod? Any help would be appreciated!
