(Possible Bug(?) ) Energy Sword ammo

So, I play with the Bandana Skull by default to play the game for fun, but I notice that even though it's enabled, the Energy Sword will STILL despawn after a selected amount of stabs, DESPITE the Bandana Skull being enabled.
