(possible bug) Level Keys, cant progress

once i reach the cargo bay in the Truth and Req after you go up the grav lift, after the flood come running out the double doors and the invisible flood ambush you, I cant progress. The normal door in the corner of the room doesnt open. there isnt a clear path ahead. im stuck.

There is a switch on the top deck of the room that will open the door to progress, which also opens up several other previously inaccessible doors in the area.
