So i can explain what is wrong graveyard and sulphurous sea. Graveyard nearby dungeon, but sulphurous sea also nearby dungeon. What if mix Graveyard and sulphurous sea where created new world, result Sulphurous sea rip in a Graveyard. Yes that is bug! But Altar boss are also rip by sulphurous sea, Lich are summing by altar.
Remember Mix Calamity's mod and Thorium mod will be impossible fight a Lich!

I think you can play with Calamity Mod + Thorium, although it is more recommended to play with Thorium Only (on the Calamity page it says that both have compatibility)

I think it's stupid for other people to want to tell other people how to play your game. They offend you just for asking "Does this Mod Work on Calamity?" These people should just SHUT UP and stop this toxicity

You can absolutely play with both of them. I do and have a great time. No clue why so many people ITT are angry about the concept

yes, combining 2 mediocre mods is bound to work
I'm pretty new to modding Terraria, and Calamity was recommended as one of the top mods to play. At the time I never heard of Thorium so I'm just now coming across it and wondering what the mod is about. While I can't yet hold an opinion on Thorium since I have never played it, I can say that Calamity is anything but mediocre and I am convinced you're simply trolling.

So you're new to modding and when someone has a different opinion than yours, you say they are trolling.

Ok.

Ok.

it's trolling because their opinion is unwarranted. thats not what OP asked. weird that you're taking bait so easily.

Having tried both calamity and thorium before, it does get a little bit unbalanced and it messes with the world gen a bit but it still works.
Calamity is more endgame content than thorium, regardless you could try to play them together, but expect conflicts.

I have a question, maybe a bit off topic, but currently I'm playing calamity, but when I finish with it I want to play pure thorium, the thing is, if by mistake I select a world with calamity generation without having calamity enabled, Tmod will send a warning message or something or it will load the world normally?

I recall there was this mod called "Thorium + Calamity Convergence Mod" which tries to make both mods more playable together or something like that I think. However I don't know if it's updated to 1.4. Also in terms of generation as far as I know the ocean biomes both mod adds don't overlap each other as they are generated in each side of the world. (Sulfurous Sea on the Dungeon side and Aquatic Depths on the opposite).
