@Neidmare Im trying to run the server without. I fixed the issue apprently I had to go into the game files and manually delete the mod from them and it fixed it. Thanks for all your help!

ui bug any way to fix this?

@Basileus Can you explain what you mean? What bug, where?

The green boxes on the ground no longer show up next to doors, hoods, or trunks. Please PLEASE fix this. It will be the death of my character many times over during intense moments.

Also, when my character is right up against a vehicle he disappears completely - so without green boxes I really have no freaking clue if my guy is in the vehicle or the action was interrupted.

@MrMarblz This mod does not change any UI, that change must have come from some other mod.

I have a private dedicated server for my brother and I, where I've included your mod. When I followed the instructions to replace the specified folder it no longer started showing up. My brother had been playing on the server for over a week, never replaced the folder and continued getting the update notification. Last night, he replaced that same folder and the same thing happened. No other changes. And he told me "now I understand why it takes you so long to get in my car".

I will trouble shoot other mods, but I am 95% certain it happens when that folder is overwritten. It may not be considered "UI" since it's simulated in the world and not just a stat graphic.

Okay, to give you further detail...

My brother and I are both running the Beta version legacy41_77 in Steam.

Troubleshooting:

1. I disabled all mods on a client machine in game, then quit to desktop.
   
2. I verified Project Zomboid game files through Steam.
   
3. I started a single player game, ran to a vehicle and saw the green box indicators on the ground when I got near and faced any door, the hood, or the trunk.
   
4. I quit the single player game, enabled the mod Mod Options (as required by your mod) before quitting to desktop.
   
5. I ran Project Zomboid, started single player. The green squares on the ground previously mentioned are still there.
   
6. I quit out of Project Zomboid to desktop and copied the specified folder over, replacing 24 files.
   
7. I started Project Zomboid, and with Mod Options still enabled I then also enabled your Better Car Physics mod.
   
8. I started a single player game and those green boxes on the ground there no longer present.

The only mods installed were Mod Options (required) and your Better Car Physics mod. The green boxes were there with the first installed.

Please do not dismiss this. I am NOT referring to the dashboard UI when you are behind the wheel of a vehicle.

@MrMarblz Thanks for the details, that was very helpful. I've checked with the current PZ version (41.78.16) and everything is fine there, the green boxes are displayed. When I switch to 41.77, the game bombards me with errors and everything is glitchy.
If you can, updating to the latest PZ version should fix this.

I have not tested it, but it replaces a different file than Better Car Physics, so in theory it should work.

Hello. An amazing mod, I don’t want to use cars without it at all.

While playing solo, no errors. When trying to play online with a friend, we encountered an error in the screenshot.

In fact, both of us have the files indicated in the error where they need them. But the error text says that these files are not there. Although they exist.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

@SenkoUA Looks like you copied both the zombie folder and the rest that was in the mod folder., is that correct? You must only copy the "zombie" folder, nothing else. Also only do this on the client, not on the server.

I had this error at some point when I added mods to my server .. was unrelated to any specific mod though, sometimes PZ just breaks.
