I'm having the same problem rn, trying to get magic storage to work.
If you're still having this issue you can try disabling any antivirus program you have.
no antivirus and the error is there

Can try reinstalling tmodloader or verifying game files. Or try manually downloading the mod. Tthe github page is linked in the mod's workshop page. Gotta click on the "<> Code" tab or the "SerousCommonLib" title at the top, then click on the green "<> Code" button next to the "Go to File" search which is above the folder/file list to find the download button.

As in the folder? Probably Tmodloader, I don't see my mods installed in the Steam folder, but they are there in the separate Terraria/Tmodloader mod folder.
yes i have this bug
Can just try the github download if turning off the antivirus or verifying game files didn't work.
Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing? That fixed mine
verifying tmodloader files worked for me
