There's a mask added to it so that when you turn it semi-transparent you can't see the background at the buttons :) While I have tried it with the rotating mode on, I haven't noticed them, but what's happening is that when you use the minimap in rotating mode the mask moves with it.
Which means to achieve transparency, there's like a whole plethora of custom code in the mod tuning it for each element in order to get the least visual distortion.
For example on the icons you can still see it, they will individually become opaque instead of the entire thing together.. so their outlines overlap. That's not something I can do anything about though so we have to live with that...
However the same thing was happening with my border elements, when you turned the minimap semi-transparent you could see the border behind the clock and the buttons..
To address that I masked my border in a previous update in those locations, however the outline of the center map was still visible behind the buttons even thou there was no longer a border there.
So in order to get rid of that, I made a mask for the inside map itself to make the portions behind the buttons completely transparent so they don't show through when lowering the opacity.
However with so many things updated, despite me testing a bit before pushing the update, I did not notice that in rotation / compass mode where the inside spins... the mask also spins and no longer aligns with the buttons...
Now in this update I applied a counter-rotation to the mask itself so it stays in place :)
Anyway, I just figured I'd share the details, cuz I don't think people realize how much effort goes into even the simplest things... like in this case having a slider that adjusts opacity... and the potential for things to go wrong.. :D
Or do you mean that you installed this and you're trying to connect to an official server or something?...
ALL mods for Conan need to be installed on both the server and the client.. you cannot have a mod and join a server which does not have the exact same mod, regardless of which mod it is, it's just how this game works.
None of the dungeons have maps in this game aside from the ones we made for the wiki
that did the trick thank you for the help and kick ass mod.
But as for removing mouse support - that will be a no thank you :)
The mod was designed with mouse support in mind, several functions are tied to it directly, like repositioning the minimap etc. That will never be disabled, not even optionally.
