Any way to add this to an existing save?
I know how to deal with aquifers but I have found that all my iron is on the aquifer levels and don't want to micro that much.

No, but you can replicate what was done in the mod by editing your own save files and region files for the save that you have. This is a pain in the ass and you'll want to make backups of said saves/regions in case something goes wrong.

You need to edit the region the save is associated with, not the save itself.
