Walker Hauler locations:
  • Walker 87: Found in Black Desert City
  • Walker 22: Found in World's End
  • Walker 40: Found in Mongrel

Loot:
  • Walker 40: Drone upgrades, drone vests, gas rifles, gas ammo, random tools (melee weapons), all related tech research and gas extraction research.
  • Walker 87: Riot armor, tactical backpacks, heavy bolting rifles, pressure converters, pressurized gas canisters, all respective research.
  • Walker 22: Hazmat suits, Rubber Boots, Service jackets, toolcases, strapped equipment, improvised pressure converter (items), all related research.
    All Walkers come with unique lore pieces.
  • K-Unit upgrade: Can be found in "old outpost"-type ruins.

General stuff/Recruitment:
  • K-Unit Prosthetics can be researched at Tech level 4.
  • Drone Workers are found at different bars throughout the world as well as wandering through most biomes (similar to drifters, 5-15% chance depending on biome)
  • A K-Unit can be recruited at Drifter's Last. Be sure you haven't triggered an override for that town yet (Tengu dead, etc).

Quest Items:
  • Ever-Blue Sky RFID AuthCard (Walker 87): Found on Savant
  • Recharging Battery Stack (Walker 22): Can be found amongst ruined outpost loot (on the ground, NOT inside containers. You can sell excess versions you find of these, they make decent Cats.)
  • Specialized CPU (Walker 40): Found inside containers at Spider Factory
    All quest items have a secondary, undisclosed loot source added in case certain options are unavailable to you in your playthrough or you use overhaul mods.

    Secret items:
    SPOILERS! You will most likely run across these items in a normal playthrough as long as you explore around.
    Heavy gauss rifle
    found in a tower in the floodlands, alongside a lore item.

    "stylish" jacket
    found on goatman. Just meant for fun, no lore.

Just out of curiosity, Where does savant spawn? I can't find him anywhere in the city.

@Gunk_Bunkus Savant is the leader of the skin bandits, he resides at their HQ directly above the Ashlands

Where can we recruit the K-unit?

@_Strider_ the K-Unit is so far only set as a spawning character for the normal start. I wanna give them a world spawn and questline/dialogue too, which i am currently working on (gonna be in V2). For now, you sadly can't recruit them normally, and need to use the mod start, i'm afraid.

Are the K-Unit Prosthetics missing for anyone else? I can research them but they aren't in any crafting menus, not even the limb bench

Something's off with the recruiting. I was able to activate Worker 22 in World's End without any special items or beating any bosses. I think you still need to set that dialogue to require the item in your inventory. It shouldn't appear otherwise, right?

I also recruited one of your worker guys in World's End with a dialogue that sounded like my vanilla skeleton was one of your models. If you want that dialogue to be hidden, it's a lot like the first case, where it needs to require your character's subrace be particular type(s). You can find both options in the top-right drop-down menu in a dialogue window.

Being able to recruit Walker 22 without the quest item is definitely a bug i will have to look into, as you said the dialogue should check for an item like it does for the others - will try to publish a hotfix in an hour or two.

The dialogue triggering for the wrong subrace is sadly a limitation of the dialogue editor i've ran into, as the "target_issubrace" condition never seemed to work correctly. I decided to publish the mod as is (with it currently only distinguishing between skeletons and non-skeletons), but changing it to be able to distinguish correctly is on the V2 goal list, ideally with a more fleshed out and less akward dialogue tree too. Sorry for the inconveniences.

All ruined outposts spawn the battery stack, for example the old empire supply outpost in sniper's valley.

I see there was an issue with walker 22 before, but I cannot recruit it even with the correct part in my inventory now.

Just checked the files and as you said, the dialogue was not correct - again. I suspect transfering files between PCs might have been the culprit here. Hotfix is out, though!

Thanks for making me aware of the issue. I will double check some of the more recent hotfixes to make sure all of these carried over correctly.

Thank you for spectaculaar work! Design is real awesome , but...
I install this mod on my old , 370 days game , and spend 3 days , trying to find any Walkers in Black Desert City , Mongrel and Worlds End. And i didnt find anything , anywhere. I check every corner , every buildings and didnt find anything looks like - "walking haulers", non of them - 87,22,40. Did they looks like parth of terrain , or selling anywhere , or i should check outside of the city? Im almost give up ...

I can't find the battery part for walker 22. Do I need to talk to the walker first before trying to find the part? For context, I've searched 3 Old Empire outposts with no luck.

They are found on destroyed outposted and lay on the ground, you can hold "alt" on your keyboard (i hope i remember this right) to see them and the other loot of those outposts.

If you looked at completely destroyed outposts with this method and they still are not there, i will investigate the issue and push a fix ASAP.
