seems to just CTD after launching the game. Can't even get to the main menu.
A fresh reinstall of the game and the paradox launcher fixed it.
Going to update the mod or what?
Even if you can launch 1.6 of the game with this mod enabled, you will have many issues during game-play if not crashing all over the place. To downgrade the game, go to its properties and under beta select 1.3.6 or lower. To revert back to normal 1.6, just select 'none' for beta. I've had zero issues playing this mod on 1.3.6 over the past 8 months. Newer Vicky 3 versions are more stable and fun, so an update or a new mod would be nice.
The game. In the properties menu of the game in Steam, you can rollback your game version by selecting one under the "betas" tab. Select 1.3.6 and the mod will work flawlessly.
This mod is a mod I wished I had tried out ages ago, but never did. I thought at least the Original Poster would hold out until first expansion was created(SOI) and not some content pack or likewise. But I also understand at a fundamental level that this game has changed from its base 1.0 paradox to What could be 1.0 SOI.
The creator should upload it to github and let the community help develop it.
