Found a bug when messing around, cant recreate, sometimes when the meraxes dies it clips through the floor.

Ok figured out what was causing the bug, when Meraxes is killed by a dinosaur wether itd be tamed or not it will fall through the map.

None of the animations are working it’s just stays still

I don't know if it is a concern, but when using the mod Immersive Taming, only the Scorched Meraxes shows up. Does the Scorched Variant do anything different in its taming or food consumption compared to the other variants?

They should not be anything different then the normal one

The meraxes seems a bit erratic with its targeting, when it kills something it always runs away to attack the next thing it sees instead of harvesting the corpse. Same thing if it gets attacked by small predators, if they attack it from behind, Meraxes simply runs towards some other creature instead of fighting back.

What specific small predators?

During my testing he wasn't reacting to both Dilophosaurs and Sarcosuchus hitting it from behind. It aggro'd them while attacking herbivores, by hitting them with the stomp or the turning bite. Once the herbivore was dead, it simply ran off to attack the next one instead of turning around and killing the small stuff.

Is the Meraxes supposed to do more damage then a rex? I tested it and it does the exact same amount of damage. I am not sure if this is a bug or not

a bit weaker in default but when angry it will do more damage

Baby meraxes can't be carried by maewing. Also Doesn't spawn naturally on Lost Island.

It's a bit inconsistent whether Meraxes is or isn't immune to bleed.

The Island map will not load with this mod...and about 30 other mods...I don't know which mod is conflicting. Strangely, Scorched Earth works, and even after deleting my data for The Island, it still will not load. It crashes with an error and a massive explanation with lots of crap I can't understand. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. Great design and great stat balance though.
