- Bamboo Forest - Maybe one of the middle tropical islands
- Autumn Forest - Maybe part of the redwoods to the south could be converted.
- Savanna - Maybe part of the western grasslands could be converted
- Glowing Blue Swamp - Alter part of the swamps in the ring around the center floating island
(Continued) ...
- Tar Pits - Either on the plains or Volcanic. Though i did really like your ash forest and stuff in the last version.
- Sulphur Fields - Defiantly on the volcanic island.
- ??? - So there is an area under the floating island in the center which is just boring beaches. you should give it a unique biome. I am not sure which type would work. Perhaps a marine or unique swamp biome. Or maybe even make it a radiation zone. Since things cannot really get out.
good luck! and I hope you use at least some of my ideas!
- Tall Jungle Trees from Lost Island (the ones you can put tree platforms on) could be added to one of the middle jungle islands to make it look like an old growth rainforest.
- Red Forest (like the ones in Fjordur) could be added next to the Autumn forest (which is also in Fjordur)
- Mediterranean / Scrubland - could be put near the new savanna and desert biomes or even on their own island. There are a few tiny tropical islands out there that could be converted to that instead of just another tropical beach biome. Or even just make your own new one! (if it doesn't mess up the ocean below)

I think this is great idea. A more intense swamp (perhaps even a connection to the underground world?) would be a great idea. I like the mangrove biome that genesis implemented, but perhaps go easy on some of the creatures. I would agree that trying to cram anything and everything in this map would be a mistake. People look for a different experience, not a similar one to what they already have. The areas beyond the edge of the world (empty ocean biome bellow the edge) might also be something to add onto somehow. Not sure what you'd want to do with that though, but at the moment it is wasted space.
There's easily enough space to add a ton of islands in either area listed, and whatever theme you want to go with them. The are under the center is likely somewhat dark so would fit a bio-luminescent theme as well, while the water areas past the edge could be anything. Maybe even just some sort of more fleshed out water biome. Perhaps go off of the mysterious nature of "the edge of the world" and try to add weird effects or secret areas like eldrich islands, maybe bathed with radiation so you can't easily fly to them?
