Just wanted to say I appreciate you putting this list together (as well as updating it). Returning to the game it was a great resource in modding the game. Checking occasionally to get anything new you add.

Glad to find an alternative to the veterans collection that's out of date. To throw one potential idea at you, have you thought of linking mod authors, or mod collections, that include additional content beyond essentials you think are worth noting to newbies? To provide an example: the Vanilla Expanded mods, just for the sake of helping guide new players.

Because I use only Vanilla Expanded and nothing else I can't really recommend any other mods or collections. Sorry.
