This is already asked. Hold ald and use the mouse scroll to go trought the active point ends

To create a curved rail adjust the pitch yaw and roll offsets to direct the track.
the alt-scroll thing doesnt work for me

All I did was alter the origin yaw and no matter what I did, it would always make a piece thats rotated at the connection of the 1st track. I even tried the X,Y and Z offset but nothing worked. if someone can make some clearer instructions on how to use this, I would be extremely grateful for it.

This looks like an amazing tool, but the lack of clear instructions and user un-friendly options make it too confusing for people who just want to make some train tracks.

Pitch, yaw and roll are used to rotate the spawned piece itself.
To change the desired track end you must use Alt+(Mouse scroll see below):
