Once your sell price modifier goes over cca 40%, you would be able to buy things for less than you would then sell them for.
Rimworld apparently has a built-in setting where the price you SELL for cannot be higher than the price you BUY for within a single transaction.
So once your sell price modifier reaches that point, it reduces the price of EVERYTHING within the transaction to pennies (min 0.5$ I think)
The "solution" is to just use your super-negotiator to BUY using Silver (price of 'money' is never reduced), buy all those fancy things you want for 0.5$/piece and have a SECOND pawn with reasonable Sell Price multiplier (40% or less) do any selling.
(And probably install some kinda bank mod to store the obscene amounts of Silver this will generate so that the raids you get don't crash your game :> )
now the question is: can we remove an expertise from a pawn? i cannot find anything in the debug actions menu and am at a loss. pls can you help me restore my best trader of my longterm playthrough? save file editing maybe?

In fact, 5% is too much, considering that inspiration gives 18%, I suggest reducing it to 2%.
Sorry for pulling it up, but is there, by any chance, solution on this bug or better just abandon this expertise?
You totally right. And there's solution:

Hope that would help
not a solution
If the buying price gets to the point where it would be lower than the selling price, the selling price is lowered as well. I've had a pawn with so much negotiation stacked with different mods that everything bought and sold for 1 silver.
