Otherwise very excited about this mod idea and your attempts to keep in line with vanilla, like when things jive together versus just becomes a form of cheating to a degree. Be sure to share my suggestions etc as play with it.
Kunlan is where the celestial dragonguard get their weapons "Supplementing their natural skill, they are given the best armour and weapons in the empire – often carrying Celestial blades and armour forged in the workshops of Kunlan."
Fu-Chow is an enormous center of trade, its dock is one of the most important in all Cathay. It has many ghettos of different races and nations, including an area for Dwarfs, and a large population of High Elves, and may in fact be the most cosmopolitan city in the world. From here, the Sea Dragon Yin-Yin rules over Eastern Cathay, and the Great Dragon Fleet is also harboured in Fu-Chow.
Shang-Wu is the most important city in Central Cathay, and a large hub of trade. It is the seat of the Jade Dragon who rules Central Cathay. The city is located near rich farmland which you have included in the Honghe Terraces.
Beichai, carries a dark reputation. No matter how many times the Cathayans stamp out Chaos cults in the city, they always seem to resurface.
I had that in mind too, so maybe a building that gives these two very powerful weapons, but also maybe a building that reduces corruption or something? It could even grant an affinity bonus with Kraka Drakk or the other Dwarf factions while we're at it.
EDIT : It seems Landmarks of legend already adds a special building in Karak Dûm, so you might want to check that out
I am happy to help make up a few names if you’d like.
A suggestions if possible would be to add the landmark symbol by the locations name so we can tell if there is a landmark there. It might not be too important for some of the factions but on warriors of chaos I like to give vassals all the non fortresses but if there is a usable landmark/resource ill take it for my faction.
Maybe an armor version of the sword of kaine? Armor of Vaul?
I'm mostly pulling the lore for this one out of my ass, though this is working under the assumption that there is some black market trade going on, on the silk road (and considering that you can get a von-carstein sword as Cathay from trading at castle drakenhoff... this is a pretty safe assumption)

Name: the Phantom Road
Built: By Vampire Count and Vampire coast factions in Pigbarter
Levels: built at tier 3
Effects:
- Increases the income of local buildings (and perhaps provides an income?)
- Item drop chance increase (all characters)
- possible trade items?
- A Delmar called "East Meets West" (details below)
Description:
A lot more than mere silks and spice is transported from east to west as some caravaneer's like to supplement their income with some... 'off the book' contraband that one can't find in an official market place and would certainly cause them to banned from one should it ever come to light.
In addition to more mundane illegal wears such as magical items and snuff, there are also a rare few rare cases where a caravan might deal in more morally dubious items such as Cursed items, dark lore, rare trinkets and more.

East Meets West
In Pigbarter the western Vampire Counts of the old world meet with their eastern cousins the Jade Vampires of Cathay. Contact between them is rare, fleeting and often short lived, but during the short window that these two factions are meeting, we may be able to gain valuable favour (and gifts) from one of these two vampire bloodlines. But who should we focus on?
- the Vampire Counts: "The Vampire counts of the old world are ancient as well as experienced in the tried and true of the dark arts; currying favour with them will allow us to gain access to the most ancient and forbidden lore of the old world..."
(Lord recruit rank, winds of magic capacity(?), unit experience(?), a vampire count themed item)
- Jade-Blooded: "Not seen since before the fall of Lahmia, the Jade Blooded are just as ancient as their old world cousins but much more secretive; currying favour with them will us to gain access to new and terrible knowledge that is yet unknown to those in the west..."
(research rate, hero recruit rank, hero action success chance, a Jade Blooded themed item)
EDIT: Replaced line of sight with hero success chance, whilst adding hero/lord recruit ranks to each choice as well as having it so that the vampirates can build this too.
The Shrine of Khaine and Shrine of Asurian landmarks could do with variants for him, given that those are two places he's connected to in-lore. (In particular, his landmark at the shrine of Khaine probably shouldn't reduce corruption - I think there's a dark elf version that could be adapted?)
The white tower of Hoeth has a default (sacked/despoiled library of Hoeth) landmark that doesn't seem to be active for N'Kari. Not sure whether the Teclis connection in-lore is enough to justify a unique, but a Chaos faction (esp. Slaanesh or Tzeentch) should probably get something for capturing a wizard's tower at the middle of a magical labyrinth, if only for the RoC connection!
Gaean Vale should probably have something as well, given Alarielle's thematic opposition to N'kari, and to corruption in general. Might be a good place for a building providing devotees and/or buffing the corruption effect of characters? (I'm guessing that reducing the cooldown of establishing cults is beyond the scope of building modifiers?)
Not so sure about Lothern, but the docks are there already, so it's at least not completely empty.
May be there should be 2 versions, one for kislevites (and possibly other "true" order factions) with some bonuses (some control and artifact goods to trade but spreading a little chaos corruption around), and one for chaos/norscan and possibly vampire/tombkings with same bonus and undead unit.
