MAJOR balance issues!!
The abilities of the Dragonkin race scale WAY too much! With just 50 defence the abilities can do over 900 DPS on a single target. and with no diminishing that means for an entire playthrough by just building pure defence, I can out damage someone with full menacing damage items.

This is a massive shame as I was really looking forward to playing with this race, but either I use the abilities, and ruin the fun on the playthrough for everyone (myself included) or just, not use the really cool abilities of my race.

Really hoping the abilities get nerfed soon, as this is such a cool mod!

The spirit of the skeleton race isn't very practical. It's very slow, cannot use weapons, dies in a single hit, and is overall really just a fancy death effect.

It's very impractical in boss fights since it forces a nohit scenario where you have to be really really slow, and unable to deal damage.

The only time the spirit actually saves you is if you die to an explosive trap and there's literally nothing else, lava, or if you die to a melee enemy and manage to escape their range.

On the flipside, body swapping can cheese certain bosses and serve really well for navigating areas

Honestly I think this whole mod could be fixed if they just re-implement the racial effect disabler item from the original 1.3 version. Then at least you could use all the different races cosmetically instead of the current state of the mod where all the damage scaling is amped up to such extreme levels that some races deal up to 3 or 4 times normal dps, and some have dps so low that their weapons literally deal 0 damage.

P.S: If you wanna play Wendigo at least somewhat fairly, install the MoHealth x3 mod to multiply all Enemy HP by 3 times. You'll still take about double damage from enemy attacks, but most big mods add a bunch of OP accessories and armor that increase survivability, and your insane DPS will be mostly offset by everything else having more HP. Other races may also benefit from this.

Both of the wendigo abilities are incredibly broken and seriously need a nerf, the matter phase ability is completely busted, you can get max health in under an hour because you can just go down immediately, and its claw attack deals insane dps. (and since it scales with health you can completely melt all the bosses) The only way that I can play this is with something like eternity or infernum mode.

I played it with calamity and got like 800 defense I KILLED CALAMITAS EASILY!!!!!!!

I feel the slowness on the kobold sunlight sensitivity is too harsh.

Hi, today I'm start new world with this race mod as goblin and everything's fine until I try ability key with shadowforge, and now I can't see my bows stats and calamity summon staff stats, help.

I can second this, wendigo and dragonborn are great to use, but at the same time I feel really bad using their abilities. their stats are worthwhile to use but their abilities makes it wayy to strong and op. if it would make sense, something like that bird race feels appropriate in terms of scaling, or another good example is like, the wyvern race from the additional races mod thats designed to be used with this one, their stats and abilities are very appropriately scaled for wyvern (the only one I tried atm)

why did you replace the kobolds old abilities with these dumb spark mines that do barely any damage, inconsistently break blocks and that the knock back on them affects you but only enough that it could throw you off a cliff you cant blast jump with them.

It seems when I reforge a weapon using the goblin ability a percent boost continues to increase every time I use it.

It causes ridiculous extremes and eventually my 64w damage scepter goes negative and just stops working.

Does anyone else have this too?

I feel like it might be ok if you couldn't spam it and/or it had a significantly longer cooldown. Things like the Dragon's smoke breath could also be nerfed in other ways like it not being able to pass through blocks but yeah the scaling is waayyy too op
