Altirus: The Second Leersog War (Skins, Weapons, Vehicles, Mutators)
Sofa  [developer] Nov 2, 2022 @ 9:10am
FULL LIST OF HETTIC EQUIPMENT
Common Equipment

Bottle Bomb
  • Slot: Gear
  • Type: Incendiary Grenade
"An ungentlemanly piece of 'equipment', if one ventures to call it such, but war is no place for gentlemen. Should you find yourself with no anti-tank grenades to spare, you can give the enemy tank's engine or crew a refreshing drink of burning petrol. It's also useful for discouraging enemy troops in tight quarters."
- Gregor
Note: Can damage tanks by targeting vents on engine deck

First-aid Kit
  • Slot: Gear
  • Type: Health
“A small kit to quickly dress wounds in battle. Contains enough medical supplies to get you or a comrade back into fighting shape, but don’t expect to run a one-man field hospital with it.”
- Marko

Box of Supplies
  • Type: Health / Ammo
  • Slot: Large Gear
“A hefty crate of assorted munitions and first-aid. Guards Stewards can carry these into battle to supply an ad-hoc defense or serious assault.”
- Marko

Repair Tool
  • Type: Repair
  • Slot: Small Gear
“Good for getting machine-guns, anti-tank guns, and other equipment back into working order. Not so good for repairing things like tanks."
- Marko

Repair Kit
  • Type: Repair
  • Slot: Large Gear
“An essential assortment of tools for perspicacious vehicle operators, allowing one to quickly conduct repairs in the thick of battle."
- Gregor

Shovel
  • Type: Deployable
  • Slot: Small Gear
“Allows the common soldier to dig themselves a suitable fighting position. Absolutely essential for footsoldiers who intend to reclaim and hold ground."
- Gregor

Binoculars
"Fancy, overpriced set of lenses for spotting distant targets. Maybe I'm going crazy but I swear I can estimate distances more accurately than with the naked eye, despite no hashmarks or anything."
- Marko
Note: Use fire button (default left mouse button) to estimate range to point of aim

Infantry Weapons

Brandt Model 483
  • Slot: Primary
  • Type: Bolt-Action Rifle
  • Weight: Light
  • Cartridge: 7.8x58mm Brandt
  • Origin: Bressia
  • Variants:
    - Stock
    - Bayonet
    - Rifle Grenades
    - Scope
“The Rifle that Armed the World, so it’s said. Built around the cartridge that perfected smokeless powder, back in the 480s. They’ve made changes and improvements over time, new patterns, but this is the original, still being built, and damned if Lingaen Arsenal doesn’t build them nicely. Take more work to care for than the newer patterns, sure, but this is the most popular rifle in the world for good reason.”
- Gregor

Aseraul F-3
  • Slot: Primary
  • Type: Submachine Gun
  • Weight: Light
  • Cartridge: 11.3x23mm Belfour
  • Origin: Bressia
  • Variants:
    - Stock
    - Bayonet
“The Bressians disowned the ‘Gangster Guns’ they invented for a long while. They almost completely swore off subguns until Aseraul started making this one. Pretty heavy, but controllable; a good compromise between accuracy and volume of fire. Don’t expect it to replace your rifle, but at least it can hit at range better than those patchwork Syrvanian burp-guns.”
- Gregor

Brandt-Elwick Autoloader
  • Slot: Primary
  • Type: Self-Loading Rifle
  • Weight: Light
  • Cartridge: 7.8x58mm Brandt
  • Origin: Bressia
  • Variants:
    - Stock
    - Bayonet
“‘Spoiled Ella’, brothers call her; a little brat who constantly needs attention and breaks down in a tantrum at the worst possible moments, and damn near smacks you in the face every time you pull the trigger. The army bought these experimental Brandt conversions by the trainload out of desperation for a self-loader years ago, and now we’re stuck with them. You might say a self-loader is a self-loader, but at least you don’t have to grease up every bullet that goes into your bolt-action.”
- Marko

Rocqueledge Machine Rifle
  • Slot: Primary
  • Type: Light Machine Gun
  • Weight: Medium
  • Cartridge: 7.8x58mm Brandt
  • Origin: Bressia
“One of the older automatic rifles out there - arguably the first, in fact - but despite some strange mechanisms inherent with what was once the cutting-edge, and the whole thing being a bit awkward to carry, it's still one of the better ones we have to hand. Light enough for walking-fire, high enough fire-rate to mow down approaching enemies.”
- Gregor

Vaulgren Heavy Rifle
  • Slot: Primary
  • Type: Anti-Tank Rifle
  • Weight: Heavy
  • Cartridge: 14x100mm Tydas
  • Origin: Alderney
“For a thing so awkward and heavy, these things are delicate as a fancy pocket-watch, and have a knack for punching the gunner in the face. But damned if they don’t do a number against light-armored motors. I hear the designer even improved the bullet just to get revenge after his son was killed by tanks during the fighting in Theres. Don’t expect it to do as well against heavier armor, though; you’ll need to shoot them in their weak spots. Try the sides or rear, or wheels or suspension.” - Marko

Afenbach Model 484
  • Slot: Primary or Large Gear
  • Type: Shotgun
  • Weight: Light
  • Cartridge: 12 Gauge Shot
  • Origin: Chergaria
“We’ve had a handful of these farm shotguns circulating among the Guard ranks for years now, and men and officers alike often wondered why before the war. But lately, Guardsmen are bringing more and more of them into service from home. As it turns out, they’re great for killing vermin of all sorts, whether it’s a fox on the farm, or a Sivak in your dugout. As inelegant and gruesome in close quarters as those bastards deserve” - Gregor

Chamber P-6
  • Slot: Secondary
  • Type: Pistol
  • Weight: Very light
  • Cartridge: 9x20mm Ruther
  • Origin: Bressia
“A widely distributed concealed-hammer automatic pistol from Bressia. Sleek, modern, and capable. Everything a sidearm needs to be.”
- Gregor

Sotekin Pocket 9
  • Slot: Secondary
  • Type: Machine-Pistol
  • Weight: Light
  • Cartridge: 9x20mm Ruther
  • Origin: Bressia / Hetland
"A strange little gun made by a strange little man. I always found it odd how the bobbies in the Bressian capital were the only ones out east who wanted to buy it off him, even if it was the crooks that made it famous. It's a fine, well-constructed pocket machine-pistol, especially ideal for machine-gunners, tankmen, and tank hunters, even if it's not ideal for use in a pinch."
- Gregor

E11
  • Slot: Gear
  • Type: Fragmentation Grenade
  • Origin: Bressia
"The ever-trusty Iron Pomegranate. A simple, standard fragmentation grenade; throw it at the enemy and let the shrapnel tear them asunder. No nuance, no pretense, just results."
- Gregor

AV
  • Slot: Gear
  • Type: Anti-Tank Grenade
  • Origin: Chergaria
"A generous gift from our dear Chergar friends, before they were forced to withdraw, leaving us to face the Sivak hordes alone. Nevertheless, it's a good answer to their propensity for armored motors. Simply toss one of these underneath an enemy tank; a large, directed explosion can break parts inside and out, rattle and disorient its crew, or blow the thing wide open altogether. Can also serve as a compact demolition charge for engineers."
- Gregor

Neifelschrade M500
  • Slot: Gear
  • Type: Smoke Grenade
  • Origin: Chergaria
“Guards just call it the Beeftin Bomb, nobody can pronounce the Chergar name. It's made to put up a defensive smokescreen, but you can try and throw it at the enemy too if you want. Used for concealing movements, creating signals, and pranking fresh Home Army stock by putting a label from the tinned rations on it. New kids getting a face-full of smoke for lunch is always a good laugh. Until the supply officer reminds us of dwindling stocks.”
- Marko

Veerwell Model 498
  • Slot: Large Gear
  • Type: Deployable
  • Origin: Bressia
  • Credits: Lordaloa (Ravenscript for bot usage)
“A Veerwell machine gun on a wheeled carriage, allowing it to be carried into battle and deployed wherever the terrain allows it. Ideal for setting up an impromptu defensive position or suppressing the enemy’s own defenses. What do you mean, ‘why not hipfire’? Ha! I knew Guardsmen came from all manner of places, but I didn't think they recruited strongmen from the circus!”
- Marko

Vehicles and Emplaced Weapons

Truck ZAV 2-Ton
  • Armament:
    - 8mm Veerwell machine gun (MG variant)
  • Crew:
    - Driver
    - Machine gunner (MG variant)
    - 10x dismounts (Stock variant) or 6x dismounts (MG variant)
  • Origin: Chergaria
  • Variants:
    - Stock
    - MG
"If it's not pulled by horse or train, it's probably carried in on one of these Chergarian trucks, from guns, to food, to lumber, to us. Not meant to charge headfirst into battle, but the guns it carries don't always have to be in crates." - Marko

Infantry Tank Mathis Mk I
  • Armament:
    • Short 60mm cannon
      - High Explosive
      - Armor Piercing
    • Coaxial 8mm Lewen A machine gun
    • Bow turret 8mm Lewen A machine gun
  • Crew:
    - Commander/Driver/Gunner
    - Bow machine-gunner
  • Origin: Chergaria
“Monstrous thing from Chergaria, most of them left over from the war out west. Plods along at a geriatric pace. Gorges itself on fuel, oil, and mechanic shop hours. But when it trundles into the thick of the fighting, it’s practically unstoppable. Just make sure the boots following it are pointing their guns wherever its turrets are not, and not allowing enemies to get behind it.”
- Marko

Cavalry Tank Amsel Mk I
  • Armament:
    - 2x 13mm Obrethern heavy machine guns
  • Crew:
    - Commander-Gunner/Driver
  • Origin: Chergaria
"In contrast to the image that comes to mind when one hears 'tank', the Amsel is a small, light vehicle that can move at a startling clip. The intent is to supplement its heavier, slower cousins to exploit weaknesses in the enemy's defenses, to catch enemy infantry unaware, or to quickly respond to the enemy's own attack. Unfortunately, there's not much it can do against enemy armor."
- Gregor

Medium Tank Colbrun Medium A
  • Armament:
    • Long 57mm cannon
      - High Explosive
      - Armor Piercing
    • Coaxial 8mm Lewen A machine gun
  • Crew:
    - Commander/Driver/Gunner
  • Origin: Alderny
“Not as fast as the Amsel, nor as tough as the Mathis, but it can keep up with Syrvanian motors reasonably well, in regards to both mobility and firepower. That means it can react to their breakthroughs reliably enough, and keep them at bay long enough for a proper counterstroke to organize to deal with them, assuming it can’t deal with them on its own. Plus, it’s a lot more gentle on supplies and mechanics than the temperamental Amsel or the gluttonous Mathis.”
- Gregor

Fighter Hauxul HF-2
  • Armament:
2x 8mm Hendtal FH machine guns (armor-piercing incendiary tracer rounds)
  • Crew:
    Pilot
“Not as resplendent or iconic as the Adler racer, no. By comparison, the Hauxul army fighter is a homely, sluggish crate, but don’t underestimate her. She can take hits as well as she gives them out, can match those Sivak biplanes in a tussle. She may be plain, that just means she goes easier on the ground crews, meaning quicker turnaround. Not fast, but all the better for lining up on ground targets. She’s a sturdy, reliable workhorse of a fighter, and the first line of Hetland’s defense in the air. Take care of her, and she’ll do likewise.”
- Edgard

Interceptor Adler AF-3
  • Armament:
    - 2x 8mm Hendtal FH machine guns (armor-piercing incendiary tracer rounds)
  • Crew:
    - Pilot
  • Origin: Bressia
“Let the boots keep believing that the Silver Steed of His Majesty’s Royal Flying Service is all she’s rumored to be. While they keep cheering, the Sivaks keep fearing. You pilots, however, need to know the truth: She wasn’t made for this. She’s a race-horse pressed into the cavalry, hence why Bressia sold them off so quickly. She’s almost overloaded as it is just by carrying guns. Her job is to charge in, rake down enemy bombers, and run before escorts can react. Don’t force her into a dogfight unless you really know what you’re doing. Let the Bressian flyers or Hauxuls deal with them.”
- Edgard

Machine Gun Veerwell Model 498
  • Ammunition: 7.75x56mm Hauer
  • Origin: Chergaria
  • Variants:
    - Upright
    - Sitting
"Veerwell gun on a folding carriage. Water-cooled, so you can keep firing as long as you have ammo. What're you asking me for? You see them everywhere."
- Marko

Anti-Tank Gun RF-37 I
  • Ammunition:
    - 37mm armor-piercing
    - 37mm high-explosive
  • Origin: Bressia
"'The Little Equalizer', so it's been called; one of the earliest dedicated anti-tank artillery pieces to enter service, and in service it remains. It can run the light tanks at the Sivaks' vanguard with ease, but may struggle with heavier ones unless they get close, or if you can hit them where they're weaker."
- Gregor

Light AA 2x Obrethern-13 M522
  • Ammunition: 12.8mm Stehr (armor piercing incendiary tracer)
  • Origin: Chergaria
"A pair of Obrethern 13mm machine guns in a low-profile anti-air mount; good for swatting at low-flying targets, as well as enemy troops or light vehicles on the ground."
- Gregor

Howitzer GFH-152 II
  • Ammunition: 152mm HE
  • Origin: Bressia
"The mainstay of His Majesty's Royal Artillery, equipping divisional batteries and guarding certain key fortified positions. Accurate, reliable, and with sufficiently high ground, can be aimed with great precision."
- Gregor

Extremely excited to see more Altirus and I love the lore! I was wondering, do you have any plans to add the hettic spigot mortar/PIAT looking weapon from the museum map to the pack?
