The information below is now outdated since TeslaRage updated the mod's configs. To make the mod compatible with LWotC open config/Base Item Decks - 5TWO and LWotC/XComTLM.ini and follow the instructions provided by the documentation.

Original discussion:
Here are some tweaks to make this mod work better with LWotC. The edited config file is called XComTLM.ini and can be found in the "Base Item Decks" subdirectory.

First remove the ; from:
; +BaseWeaponDecks = "TLM_CG_BaseWeapons" and
; +BaseWeaponDecks = "TLM_LS_BaseWeapons"

Next, there are 5 sets of configs, one for each weapon tech level, in this order:
-Conventional
-Magnetic
-Coil
-Laser
-Beam

Each part has this line: Tier = x, where x is a number from 0 to 4. Change those numbers like this:
-Conventional: Tier = 0
-Magnetic: Tier = 2
-Coil: Tier = 3
-Laser: Tier = 1
-Beam: Tier = 4

Lastly, the names for the laser and coil techs don't match the ones used in LWotC.
- For laser weapons, change
Requirements = (RequiredTechs = ("LaserWeaponsTech_LW")) to
Requirements = (RequiredTechs = ("LaserWeapons"))
-For coil weapons, change
Requirements = (RequiredTechs = ("CoilGunTech_LW")) to
Requirements = (RequiredTechs = ("CoilGuns"))

If you play with "A Better Barracks Arsenal for LWOTC" and want to include XCOM weapons from that mod to boxes here, add this list to the section for conventional weapons:

I highly recommend either backing up your configs or running these with a local config mod to prevent them from being reset when I update the mod.

i just use [WOTC]Mass Effect Weapon Pack but changed pretty much every weapon with custom stats/perks. and incorporated those in a 5tier setup. I made them unobtainable apart from the lockboxes. Advent does get some of them with my Advent Mass Effect Cooperation

They add various new weapons. The chosen ones of course add chosen-type weapons to sparks and hero unit weapons for example. Adding them to the pool for this mod may be broken of course but I'd just like to try it out.

I think Item hider will hide the item you get from this mod too. So that could be your root cause. I normally hide items with WSR so they wont be buildable but at the same time won't touch what you have in inventory. Sample:

I've added the hunter rifles from 4rrakis' comment above, and I found the schematics for the Chosen Hero + Chosen Spark mods and added them into the Beam-tier. Curious to see how it works since they apparently have proving grounds research/tech requirements associated to it, so I guess by doing this I've made it so I can just get it from a box by chance at Beam tier, so that will be.. awkward XD.

I also added them to Item Patcher config folder, just in case it needs to be there (maybe for the colour text?)

Dont add stuff to Item Patcher. That serves a different purpose altogether.

I don't know how Chosen Hero + Chosen Spark mods work. There needs to be some sense check when adding to loot pool though. If the original modmaker didn't intend for the weapons to be built more than once, adding the weapons to this mod's lootbox will allow you to receive those weapons more than once.
