Bug Reports
This post is for people who experience bugs that need help with. I will also post any official bug fixes as part of patches notes.

If you have a issue please post your issue, symptoms, what you where doing when bug appeared and any error messages you get. If it is a graphics or loading issue please post your PC specs

i5-3470 3.2Ghz
8 gigs of ram
Gtx 750 ti
64 bit windows 10 pro

So the game uses 3 gigs of ram normally but whenever I play with your mod goes up to 7 gigs usage in resource monitor and task manager.

What mods are you using? I need to know this as it could be a mod conflict

As said in the comments section I have test the released version and a unreleased version with my PC with live testing tools booting up the mod and haven't had any issue with RAM increasing, I even tested the mod with another mod that forces cars spawn on every car spawn point in the map with no change in performance. It sounds like a mod conflict when the game world is being loaded or one of your sticks of RAM is on its way out. I had a issue like that where a stick of RAM was struggling to handle loading and would massively increase in RAM Usage.

I'm not having the issues your having with the mod. What I have done is ask a few friends to run task manager when booting the game with the mod and without the mod to see if the RAM and other performance issues occur. I will post on here with what they say to me about the issue with RAM.

Tell them to use resource monitor while using it, task manager will not display it properly and i have checked my ram in windows memory diagnostic and it found no problems.

@David sorry for the slow response as I was talking to you last Sunday I was already coming down with something and turned out my brother brought back covid from his holiday so I have had a rough few days but almost past it now. We did extensive tests on the mod and other vehicle mods as a few of my friends are vehicle modders too. Regardless we had the RAM running at 3GB - 3.5GB increases when larger mods running. It didn't effect us too much but this is a issue with loading assets in general - the devs are trying to fix loading issues with their engine and a long term goal is to fix loading in issues which cause higher RAM usage. All mods we tested on had optimised for recommendations from the developers themselves and this is not a memory leak issue on the this mod or any other vehicle mod that uses current vehicle standards i.e my mod, FR Used Cars, FQ's Car pack as all three had the RAM go up to 3.5GB with each other on and one mod at a time running. The other mods you are running are very small mods that use code and do not load much assets causing them to run less (I tested these by themselves and with my mod and other car mods too). Unfortunately until the game developers can fix and update the game engine there is not much I can do as I have optimised my models and textures (Compressed) to best they can be. You will notice this jump the larger the mod is and this mod is one of the largest car mods at the moment

It looks like its missing the file that allows the cars to spawn in. Unsubscribe and re-subscribe. I think you had a download issue. If it still persists I may have to update the mod

I'm getting this error regarding many different vehicle mods, I'm really confused but I will try redownloading everything

I've heard that this error might be because my dedicated server has lua checksums turned on. Should I turn lua checksums off and try?

@willow there's a link to a guide on how to fix mod issues on servers. I was wondering if this issue was a server issue. I can see that the server must have a slight drop in connection when downloading the mod as that usually causes files to me missed. If you follow that guide my mod and other mods should work

I can't seem to fix this error. I tried following that guide and deleting all of my mods and client and reinstalling them. I also tried downloading the mods directly from the server and using those files

I did a fresh install of my dedicated server. I did a fresh install of my own client. I uninstalled and reinstalled this mod. I just can't seem to fix this error!

I found a way to fix this error and that is to take the mod files and drag them into the media folder with all of the vanilla zomboid files. Of course this gets messy because now vanilla files are being completely overridden. Why is this game not trying to look for the mod files elsewhere?

I have a lot of mods so it's hard for me to tell exactly what's wrong when i get errors, but I just got a series of errors that all contain this line:

"VEHICLE MISSING CONT DISTRIBUTION: 93frieghtlignerambulancefire"

and they talk about "getConditionMax of non-table: null at KahluaThread.tableget line:1689" in an exception starting with:

function: createPartInventoryItem -- file: Vehicles.lua line # 1056 | Vanilla
function: Default -- file: Vehicles.lua line # 363 | Vanilla

right after what i assume is a spawn attempt:

CarController.<init> > Vehicle vid=234 type=Base.93frieghtlignerambulancefire has been added at (11390.024414;6824.500000;0.427866) auth=vid:Base.93frieghtlignerambulancefire(234) pid:(-1)

That's mostly gibberish to me but I think I get the basic idea. Game tried to spawn one of your ambulances and couldn't determine the condition of one of it's components?

I have Vehicle Repair Overhaul also loaded (lower in the order than your mod) which should be the only other mod dealing with vehicle parts.
