Game worked fine before adding this. Removed the incompatible mods and now it literally crashes on startup Every time without end because it cant generate a texture file.

here i'll add onto it because i went and found the broken particles. Its all the acid particles and some OGRE engine texture that cause crashes. and this is by itself with no mods enabled but this one. all the acid particles brick the game on startup so its physically unplayable with this mod. I'll wait for a response but even for performance i need a workin game to get performance

So in other words, the game is literally tripping on acid?

OK I'll look into it. Would you happen to have the error file? If not where the error occurs on the map.

It doesnt occur on the map, game didnt load. I redownloaded it and fixed the texture issue, however I do get random crashes from the acid thing in the main menu at random now, so idk what that could be. Im testing things to find...somethin, anythin.

Well I'm somewhat at a loss to be honest. You will be the first person to have a crash on startup with the mod.

aye, it happens because of computer spagetti code, mod works otherwise i might just have the most random chance problem lol.

So to clarify when you remove the mod it doesn't crash.

yeah, but when i have it, i get sparratic crashes in the menu, been testing it with only this mod on, and vanilla, i look into logs, but kenshi being kenshi doesnt crash like "normal" with a report, it just closes instantly.

the reason i said acid is because at one point i GOT a report with it saying somethin about the acid particles like 30 times in a row. however since ive been testing now the crash reports dont even show an error message they just generate all the startup stuff and then stop

Kenshi often creates a error log even if then error popup doesn't show. It's called "Kenshi.log" and it's located in the Kenshi directory

Two other questions:
Were you using scar's particle mod on the nexus? It will be incompatible with that.
Have you tried validating the game files?

fixed it, its incompatible with like 2 other mods i removed, just texture changes that happened to also change particles. sorry for the wasted time
