Make it an option
If it's going to be added then i want it to be an option. I don't like modern ui, but i do understand that the ui i am most familiar with, is confusing for new players. Why not make it default for f2ps, and make it so that we can type in game launch settings like for example "-old u." to be able to switch to the old one. That way players who like the old ui can still use it. And players who are new might wanna stick with the modern one.

I agree, it looks like that sort of style a lot. Which I feel does not fit TF2's own style nor would it make TF2 any at all unique

The UI just looks like they copied off the new panorama UI from CS2....

I just think Valve shouldn't implement stuff like this at all.
If you want the game to have a new HUD, then install it yourself.
But supposing that Valve does this, then it should be located somewhere in your Steam library, around where you manage the game's DLCs, then you choose your preferred HUD or whatever.

it looks like overwatch, however
after attempting to get friends into the game in the past, they have complained about the ui being unintuitive and dated, hard to navigate. so this could be a very good idea

I definitely do think people are taking this submission a little too seriously

Valve adding this would be entirely unprecedented. I think dota allows community cursors and stuff but that’s the closest I can think of to something like this being added…

It’s just a fun design I thought would be cool to do. Just reimagining tf2 with modern day trends. I don’t even think this would be physically possible to implement.

with all this new stuff that can be toggled on and off there should be a section in the advanced settings for all this toggle-able stuff

Yes. The old ui should definitely still be accessible if this gets added.

The UI made me think more of Black Mesa more than CS2 or Fortnut. Didn't Black Mesa also have the option to use the old menu as well?
