(this only works if you go idle) type in the console jointeam 2 (person you want to play as) also the person you want to be has to be a bot

I don't know if you still need this but

1. Pick the mode/campaign/difficulty you want to play
2. Open the Developer Console
3. Type or copy/paste this: sv_cheats 1
4. Type cmd (inster player number 1 or 2) sb_takecontrol (Insert Survivor Name here)
Examples:
cmd1 sb_takecontrol Francis
cmd2 sb_takecontrol Zoey
Survivor Names: Francis, Bill, Louis, Zoey, Nick, Ellis, Coach, Rochelle

*Note: DO NOT change player 2 to whatever character player 1 is at the time. This will insta kill player 1 and end the level. So if player 2 wants to play the character that player 1 is playing as do this:
- Change player 1 to a character nobody is going to play as or to the character he/she wants to play as (if P2 is not already on them)
- Now change player 2 to the character player 1 was
- Change player 1 to who he/she wanted to play as (if Player 2 was playing as Player 1's desired character at the start)

examples:
P1 is Bill but wants Francis
P2 is Zoey but wants Bill
Change Bill to Francis, and now change Zoey to Bill

P1 is Bill but wants Zoey
P2 is Zoey but wants Bill
Change Bill (P1) to Francis (Ai), change Zoey (P2) to Bill (Ai), and now change Francis (P1) to Zoey (Ai)
