Depends on the mod:
- Simple texture packs will work alright. But if there are some changes in worlds like new trees and additional details then you'll get NOTR world again. Which will not affect the story - you'll just see empty maya underground ruins. In this case you can move such mod under Classic mod in launcher to lower his load priority.
- Ninja and Union plugins will work alright.
- Standalone story mods (Dark Saga, Velaya) will never work. They even use their own separate saves folder. Such mods marked as Standalone in Workshop.
- Balance tweakers for NOTR will never work and will just replace Classic scripts with their own. And you'll get tweaked NOTR. Such mods marked as Addon in Workshop. Try to avoid them or lower their load priority.
> Also is there any chance you can change language?
What do you mean? You can change mod's language in launcher. Currently it is avaiable in English, Polish and Russian.
> language pack i downloaded are with .vdf
That's for non-Workshop usage only. You'll have to choose only one way to play:
- use.vdf file for vanilla G2 NOTR from Steam or CDs
- use Workshop beta launcher and subscribe to the mod in Workshop
- .mod are loaded from Data/ModVDF folder via mod launchers and applied for selected mod only.
- .vdf are loaded from Data folder and applied for base game and every mod.
