City Wide Revolt
Finished This Mod, Here Are My Spoiler Filled Thoughts
Before I knew what this mod was, I finished Ruina and thought "Man I'd love a mod that adds tons of content over the course of the game. Then I found this mod and tried it, and I burnt out sadly because I had just beaten Ruina a month prior. That was around a year ago. I tried it again this time, with a completely new game from start to finish, and I recorded the entire experience. I intend to upload the full videos later on to my YouTube but I'm in the process of changing to an ISP with better upload speeds, so that will have to wait. For now, here are my thoughts:

1. I love most of the mod's progression. Getting access to the Gun Toting Rats a bit early on, the small bit of Reverence you get with Cupid and his Soaring passive is really good later on for Chained Wrath. Vivian of the Neophytes. Etc. I love the whole hammer and nail thing with N-Corp, the season courts' gimmicks, and more. The Forgotten Association is easily one of my favorite ones just because of Onslaught and Multistrike. But I did wonder, are there plans to add more Rupture, Reverence, Gloom, or Fairy? Rupture only exists in Scalpel Cut and Suspicious Individuals then doesn't show up until around late SotC or in IC, and even then only in a few pages like Sinner's Choice and Troubleshooting(I think it was Troubleshooting). Reverence is nonexistent after Cupid and barely shows up with the Virtues and Thrones, their pages being more about control with stuff like light absorption, page discard, page lockdown. In fact, Reverence doesn't really show back up all that much until you get tons of access to it from the Ruinous version of Hokma's floor, which seemed interesting enough to make me switch off my Revs in White/Gaspard/Karamon team to try it out. Fairy only minorly shows up on one single use combat page you get from F-Corp, and then never again until the Ruinous version of Binah's floor. And Gloom literally only exists on one of the Book Club guys early on and the Princess Who Brings Sleep. So are there any plans to include more of those four status effects anywhere from early into the lategame? I think most everything else is fine, there's plenty of charge, Restraint and Tremor also have only a bit of presence but definitely more than the other three statuses, and Restraint comes back in force with the Revolutionaries in Black.

2. I think I understand the story for the most part from context. I'm assuming that a lot of the Wings get involved because of stuff Nemo said in the actual canon, it's like a patent war and everybody's scrambling. Looks like N-Corp are there because of Nemo and Cupid though, which makes sense. The Sevens are looking for Dante, the Zwei for Isadora/Georgio/etc, and Hana finally gets involved in a similar fashion to the canon Hana near the end of it all. But I have a few questions. Who is "Undefined" who shows up during the Sisterhood of Silence reception? He looks like he has to do with either the Index or the Inquisitors. My best guesses on later on are that Elluka Clockworker was being hunted by the Inquisitors, then somehow ended up in a war between them, the Virtues, and an Arbiter of the Head who was there for some reason. Then the Celeste Atlas, whatever they were doing was bad enough for the Head to send several Arbiters and Claws after them. Helena distorted, becoming Corozon de Dragon and part of why Jianren's Office fell, recovered, and encountered Cory after he distorted, knocking sense into him and leading him to join them. Rydyms seems to follow Sol, Sol was inspired by the Light to help the Cityfolk, this moved Akasha to form the rebellion, Helena is there to because she doesn't want any of them to distort, and Meso wants Bloodfiend equality I guess. Probably the biggest questions I have are:

2a. What is going on with Maw of Heaven, where Archangel Dariel flees after you take him down to 100 HP, and is there a planned continuation of that? I noticed we get Virtue of Judgement's keypage but not the Heaven Song guys who have exclusive pages that you can't use on anyone yet.

2b. What is going on with Elluka Clockworker fleeing the Order of the Lantern reception after you defeat her, and is there a planned continuation of that?

2c. I noticed that the map diverges into lines going off to either side after the Head fight, but they don't lead to anything. Is that just a visual thing or is there planned to be even more after that?

2d. Are you still going to be working on Credenza entries in the future?

3. The only parts of this that I found particularly difficult were the Princess Who Brings Sleep(if you do it as soon as you gain access to it), the Order of the Lantern, Bedivere's Office(because of stacking second winds and defensive dice, though I powered through it), and perhaps the Revolutionaries to some degree, then of course the fixed receptions. Overall, playing this mod almost entirely with just the vanilla content and the tool the mod itself provides, most things are easy enough to work through. And I found myself changing my teams up for newer stuff and changing out my builds constantly to check out all the new stuff. I skipped a couple of the early things, but overall yeah, it was a great experience. And in hindsight, Princess Who Brings Sleep, who made me just give up and use the Super Finn mod, could be easily dealt with using mass attacks to just nullify her dream self summon, and you do get access to Fourth Match Flame by then. Or just come back later with better stuff. But it definitely felt way harder for being an end of Urban Plague fight(I just assumed it was your attempt to make a CWR equivalent of Crying Children).

4. Are there any plans to implement keypages and combat pages for the player to use of the various different Arbiters or the outside of the Ascension Project fixed reception? Because I thought those were really cool. This is a very minor thing that I just thought I'd ask.

5. So far I've done most of the 'hidden' receptions. Akasha's book lets you fight the Floor of Philosophy slightly early. Akasha and Sol lets you do Ebb and Flow. The Thrones let you do Maw of Heaven. Purple Tear and Kalaidoscope let you do the LCB Sinners. That last one is the only one I haven't done yet. Are there more hidden receptions? And what's up with whatever you're supposed to get the book of GDI from? I read in the comments that it was something you technically can't access, is that right?

Thank you if you took the time to read all of my statements and I hope to get some proper responses. I had a ton of fun with your mod and some of what it provides is absolutely never leaving my roster. I love a lot of the Ruinous stuff, but particularly Gebura, Binah, Roland, and the Library Director's keypages. Those are never leaving my roster, ever, though I had to use a separate mod to be able to switch Roland and Binah. A minor inconvenience that was easily fixed. Thank you very much for the work you put into this.
