I noticed that with the latest Pitstop update today (and a few prior to that), some of the tile categories are appearing where as others are not. I.e in Dylan's tilepack - GardenStuff01 appears but GardenStuff02 doesn't appear.
I think this may be due to the following 2 lines?
LOG : Mod , 1653568374630> 2,852,584,626> mod "pz_rosewoodexp_map" overrides media/dylanstiles.tiles
: General , 1653568406019> 2,852,616,017> tiledef: loading C:\pzserver\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2718350686\mods\pz_rosewoodexp_map\media\dylanstiles.tiles
--
I presume this is because your dylanstiles.tiles file is an older version of the tilepack that doesn't contain the newer tiles and because it has the same name as Dylan's file it is overriding the actual dylanstiles.tiles included in Dylan's official tile mod meaning the newer tiles never get a chance to load.
Could you please have a check over that when you get some spare time please?
Other than the above, no issues with the Rosewood Expansion map itself, its great and adds alot more depth and detail!
Thanks!
Thanks for help to you and Hanney. Allright, i have changed the name of tiledef (added RWE_ prefix) regenerated slots and it looks good, but again, i was never able to recreate this issue before, so i'm a little bit afraid of updating it on steam...are there any other things i should be aware of?
I would try to talk to Dylan in the discord, hes extremely helpful
damn...so fix didn't work, ok...i will be looking to resolve this issue, but can't promise anything m8
The easiest way to test it, is to check whether the big "Pitstop '93" main road banners are present (or whether they are question marked in debug mode: https://imgur.com/a/52c7lk0)
Verifying integrity of files also had no effect.
I love this mod, but it's currently unusable. :(
There's a good chance that one of the tile packs has done some asset name changes in order to play nicer with other tilesets. Or added assets from another tile pack in an effort to consolidate and reduce the number of tile packs needed for an expansion. in which case the maps that use those tilesets need to simply be updated with the new asset names.
#1 - Unsubscribe from all mods used on the server
#2 - Restart Steam PROPERLY. If you don't know how to just restart your computer instead
#3 - Start Project Zomboid
#4 - Try to join the server in question and let it download all mods again
This worked in 9 from 10 cases so it's your best bet currently
I did that after reinstalling the tileset mods and it worked
