Maybe Leman Russ variants? If possible with modding magic :)
Conqueror: Replace the lascannon with a lighter cannon, less powerfull than the battle cannon. The Conqueror would be better against unarmored targets and a greater mobility.
Demolisher: a lemon with a second cannon similar to a vindicator for short range heavy firepower.
Punisher: armed with a gatling gun, in Gladius similar to the Space Marine-thunderfire cannon.
Hi,
Some great ideas here for further expansion. Yer some of the graphical content will be challenging because of the Data folder structure which limites access or ability to modify the 3D files. I am working on a solution for this, so fingers crossed!
I think the Leman Rus Variations would doable and a good starting point for expanding the vehicle rosta.
Thanks for your feedback and support.
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer!
OK, modding unit models sounds difficult. I hope the best!
I think a lot of people will be happy if you can expand your mod further.
The emperor protects!
Nothing is off topic, sounds like a great idea. A foreseeable problem would be the custom mesh import that could represent the trench systems. I might be able to use textures but this might have a less immersive feel and not really fit with the games design. Let me think on it and thanks for your feedback, I feel a battle engineering unit is on the cards.
Another idea that came to my mind when looking at the command squad was, that a retextured mesh of the commissar could also look nice.
Also maybe it is possible to add different barracks for different regiments that would, when built, exclude the others. This would avoid the need to add whole new factions but would spice up the boring cadia pattern guard.
