Anorexy as just one example, but flimsy and frail especially.
When you got them in the original mod, it would clear your current amount of gained str score, and you could get flimsy just by dropping below 75 into slightly underweight - which felt horribly unfair to me as a player. I spent hours training my str, only to lose it all by going below 75 for a grand total of an hour in-game time.
There's also that underweight carried far too many negatives to be realistic, much less fun.
One thing though, if I'm reading this right, it looks like if you get particularly drunk once, and are thus drunk for ten hours, you'd end up being an alcoholic?
Yes, like I said that's just the original mechanic, I might fiddle with it later if community feedback thinks it's too quick. Something to keep in mind is 'drunkness' goes away pretty quickly, so you would need to take multiple drinks to keep yourself drunk for those ten hours.
I absolutely hate speed demon because of it's stupid pedal to the metal reverse mechanic... It should've always been a negative trait IMO as you literally call the whole block to come feast on you while only gaining a very slight speed boost while driving. Is there a way to remove that trait from getting added or to remove that reverse bullcrap so it actually is a positive perk?
I'm in the exact same position, would like to disable the crafting/reading. Apart from that, really enjoying the mod!
The "bigger" you are, the more calories your body burns simply to stay alive... i found myself hungry often just hour after a meal sometimes
Do you have one of the "More Traits" mods installed? Both mods have an alcoholic trait. The one from More Traits kills you and does not interact with Dynamic Traits.
For myself, they both use the same icon and description from More Traits on the selection menu, however they are supposed to have different icons. The icon from More Traits is a simple straight white glass and the one from Dynamic Traits is green, curved and has an umbrella or straw in it.
Until there is a fix, you might need to remove it or exchange it for the correct trait with debug mode which can be confusing and frustrating if you've never used debug mode.
* go to your library, right click Project Zomboid on the library list (or click the "gear" icon on the PZ library page) and go to "properties"
* add -debug to the text box under "launch options"
* load up your save like normal
* if you have errors while loading, uncheck "Break on Error" and hit F11 (I think?) or click the small x icon near the top right to skip the error debugging screen.
* click the bug icon on the left side under the map icon, "Player Stats," then remove white glass trait then you can add the green one if you want to.
* if your character is currently dying from withdrawal, you also need to remove your sickness status by going to: "General Debuggers" on the "debug menu" list, "Moodles and body," then drag "sickness" slider to 0.
* You might need to enable godmode temporarily, which is at the bottom of that list of sliders and checkboxes.
