Sub-machine guns would be a great addition as a stepping stone from handguns to large rifles for players who manage to get their hands on a considerable amount of 9mm but don't have much particular usage for it. Plenty of SMG's available to choose from too, such as MP5's and MAC-10's. Some handgun variations would also be nice as well, like the Glock.

MP5 was planned but would be very rare, about 0.1 or 0.2% chance from police weapon loot and maybe a bit higher in military gun spawns.

definitely considered mac-10 or mac-11/9 found anywhere civilian weapons are but also very rare.

Glock was also planned and I'm considering making it replace the vanilla m9 and move m9 to military and gun store spawns
Maybe you can consider some mechanics from unique firearms progression like revolvers are easy to use and not require a high aim level

That's a good idea we might implement something like that in the rebalance soon.

You have excellent taste, I love all of those guns. However I'm trying to stay away from adding too many extremely rare assault rifles and Submachineguns. I do plan on adding the M24 Sniper Rifle variant of the R700, and probably a CAR-15/XM177E2 both to mlitary only loot. I'd love to do an AUG but that would involve a whole new animation set and that's not something we're capable of yet.

Some unique sounds? The Sks, Ak, m16, share all the same sound? and the m1911, pistol, and all revolvers share also the same sound? It would be good to have some unique sounds to the guns.

Also, some of the guns are extremely big? The pump shotgun is almost as long as my characters height. And their hands barely get to reach the pump.

I'm trying to work out how to add custom sounds without them being buggy, as you can see in the list on the mod page.

All of the guns are the same length as the vanilla counterparts, some appear larger because either I modeled them to have correct proportions or because the devs didnt seem to quite get the sheer size of some of these weapons right (Desert Eagles for example, are enormous.)

P320 doesnt exist yet, neither does the FiveseveN, I thought about doing a Makarov but it's 9x18 and the 9mm in the game is 9x19.

I can make new ammo types but I'm trying to not add any ammo if its only used in 1 gun.

I have been considering a craftable oil filter suppressor that would require metalwork skill and an oil filter item only found at mechanic shops rarely, aswell as only reduce sound by around 25-30% and only be mountable on some weapons.

I have no intention of adding any overpowered suppressors.

For PM, you can make a cartridge called "9 mm Russia" or otherwise. you can also add APS and VZ 65 under the same cartridge
